Horrible
Absolutely the worst I went to a Emory thinking this would be a good experience, because of the reputation . I have used Emery for many many years, so has my family, but after my first visit here, the office visit went great but little did I know once you walk out that door you no longer exist to him . He ask you to communicate through my chart that he refuses to reply to he orders test bloodwork. Don’t go over them with you won’t call won’t even put a message in my chart I knew from the beginning he would not fill out any paperwork for your insurance or FMLA leave he did tell us that upfront and ask us to have PCP take care of it , and he would but everything he needs in mychart . But trust and believe after that first appointment when you walk out that door now matter how many test are ran or how much blood work is done you will never know the results, I don’t understand how a doctor can completely ignore a patient like this, but trust and believe your bill will be texed immediately!

He has concerns in the office, however, he never returns phone calls. I have had 3 occurrences one after a bronchoscopy with biopsy (it took 2 weeks and numerous calls). The second I had an issue and was unable to reach him. The third I needed information regarding further care for ILD, so I attempted to make an appointment just to speak with him. I spoke with numerous office personnel until he was finally given the phone. Lack of professionalism when you are concerned for your own health. Seriously disappointed with the care from this Emory physician. Ps. I have seeked further care from a different MD.

Sadly Dr. Troung was less than concerned about my family member than he was about his own research and travel. He wanted to perform surgery before ruling out the root cause of the problem through less invasive measures. Plus, he was arrogant and his office staff is left having to cover for him. Buyer be ware.
