Dr Visk took charge of my crisis and saved my life. I'll always be thankful for him. May God bless him.

Dr. Visk was very knowledgeable about my situation. I was very embarrassed about my complaint, but he made me feel comfortable. I feel like he was a good listener as well.

Dr. Visk is completely incompetent. He failed to prescribe me antibiotics and sent me home with pain meds when they were not needed. What are they teaching in medical school these days?

My doc sent me to Vandy to get checked for a TIA. When at the ER, I told the doctors I had both Chronic Still's and severe RA and was in a bad flare with each, so sitting was extremely painful, especially since I've been mostly bedridden these past few months. They didn't have an exam room with a bed available, so I had to sit. The first shift doctors made sure to manage my pain. Then shift change. We get Dr. Visk. I had been sitting up in my wheelchair for over 8 hours now. I'm rocking back and forth because the joint pain is beyond human. It feels as if my joints and every space in my back are all filled with crunchy, sharp broken glass. This doctor comes in and wants to address a migraine. I wasnt there for a migraine! I was there for a possible TIA! He didn't even read my chart! We asked if he would finally address my back and joint pain from sitting so long.This doctor said no. He treated me as if I were a junkie off the street! He even laughed at me because I was in so much pain!
