She was very, very quick even for a 15 minute appointment. She didn't even spend that much time with me. She was perfunctory and brusque. She would not let me come back for a yearly check. Told me because I am such a low priority and there are far more pressing medical problems for other patients, I would be taking up too much valuable time away from them. Refused my request to be seen yearly. Did not care that I was concerned her office would forget to recall me back in two years. And that I would no longer be a patient at her practice. She didn't even try to offer me any SK removal for an upcharge this time either.

Very attentive
I arrived to Dr. Charos with a concern about a skin tag. Since I could remember, I have always been self conscious about showing my fingernails. Living with this for almost half my life, I had given up hope and just learned to live with it. I had come in to see Dr. Charos for something completely different and she noticed the state of my fingernails, which I thought I was doing a great job of hiding. But she caught on. She told me about a medicine that is a once a week pill that would help me fix my nail problem. After 2 months of taking it, I noticed my nails were growing normal. It's been almost 5 months now and my nails look beautiful. Just wanted to say thank you Dr. Charos for noticing my problem and fixing it.

Bad Experience after waiting months for appoint.
I waited for a dermatology appoint. for 3 months. I finally went in for my appoint. and after examining my skin, Dr. Charos explained my options, one was oral antibiotics and I stressed that I didn't want to take antibiotics bc of many gastrointestinal issues I have. Dr. Charos prescribed a topical antibiotic. I left my appointment without knowing this was an antibiotic and then soon realized it was. I called the office ASAP but couldn't get through-call dropped after 30 mins on hold. So I went back into the Dr. office. When the Dr. came in she argued and spoke condescendingly to me about her decision to prescribe antibiotics and when I expressed that I didn't want to take them orally or topically, I teared up a little bc I was frustrated. I apologized about crying and she blew me off and stated she would prescribe something else but insurance doesn't often cover it. She left me in the room crying with no instructions for the new RX or if I needed to check out. I felt very embarassed.
