Dr. Alexandria Darras, MD

This was my first surgery, hopefully the last :). Dr. Darras listened to my concerns about the process from possible allergies, nausea, length of time to wake up in recovery, eye taping, and most importantly the intubation. She didn't dismiss my concerns, she actually told me what she would do to prevent and or resolve my concerns should they arise during the procedure. I woke up within 40 mins in recovery. I was alert, no nausea what so ever, no eye issues from taping them shut, my throat did not hurt, but most importantly she peaked in from behind the curtain when she heard my voice. She smiled and all I could do was say Thank You and give her a thumbs up. Job well done, Dr. Darras. Note: I had previously met with the originally assigned anesthesiologist, but due to operating room scheduling or delays the procedure was reassigned to Dr. Darras. I believe the Universe had a hand in this...just sayin'
