Should not be practicing medicine
Practice consists of extensive unnecessary biopsies/excisions of benign lesions and even completely healthy tissue. Ignores other physicians dx & biopsy results. Pts are left with extensive scarring and other health risks (infection, etc).

Dr. Fernandez is an amazing, highly-trained, compassionate dermatologist and we're very lucky to have him in Port Charlotte. He took expert care of my daughter. His entire staff was great, including nurse practitioner Danielle Davis. I will continue to recommend Dr. Fernandez to anyone who needs expert dermatologist care

I've seen Dr. Fernandez as a dermatologist for several years, and he's far more knowledgeable than anyone I've seen in the past. He gets it right every time. I sometimes ask him for his opinions about where I should go for other medical issues; I trust him. he takes the time to hear your concerns and questions. Very impressive guy. It's a clean, attractive office, and the staff is friendly.
