Dr. Ali Ashraf, MD

My experience with Dr. Ashraf was great; he took the time to explain all options and was willing to accommodate last minute changes. Pre and post op experience was good too, as well as follow ups.

PERFORMED SURGERY ON MY BROKEN RIGHT ULNAR BONE FROM BEING KICKED BY MY HORSE. I AM VERY THANKFUL AND APPRECIATIVE FOR PROVIDING ME THE NECESSARY HEALTH CARE THAT WAS NEEDED.

I had two tears in my meniscus, lateral and medial, and he wanted to give a a steroid shot and PT and send me on my way. I went to another surgeon and had my knee repaired. I was disappointed in his lack of interest in helping me.

Dr. Ashraf is an excellent surgeon and doctor. I tore my ACL last summer and he was really great about laying out my options without pushing me toward any one decision. The surgery went well with no complications, and I found him to be a responsive and caring doctor when I went in for follow-up appointments.

My 92 yr old mom broke her hip, it’s now 1 yr later mom is doing great. Dr Ashraf said mom gave his surgical expertise the test. So greatfull the Lord sent you

Dr. Ashraf did my shoulder surgery and did an absolutely fantastic job. I am way ahead of schedule in my rehab and am at probably 90% in 5 months. I highly recommend him!

I had a torn rotator cuff and Dr. Ashraf did a wonderful job explaining what this meant, what can be done and what the future holds as this is the second surgery on that shoulder (15 years apart). Surgery went well, he was responsive to my questions following it and in all our follow up appointments. Probably the best bed side manner of any Dr I have ever been to. I’m a 67-year-old who had consult with Dr. Ashraf to determine if my back-of-knee pain is caused by arthritis. It is. I also have a small Baker’s cyst found on an ultrasound (to rule out DVT). I’m 35 lbs. overweight with high bp. Doctor A is very personable. He recommended 8-12 wks of PT to strengthen core, lower back, quads and use of a cane to take some of the stress off knee. I’m allergic to opioids. I worry the cyst might be causing my severe pain by pressing on a nerve. An MRI supposedly gold standard to determine if that may be what is happening and why I’m experiencing burning, pins and needles, muscle twitches and numbness in my leg. I wrongly assumed an Orthopedic Surgery Specialist might be able to tell me if I’m in danger of more permanent nerve damage. MRI not offered. Draining cyst or surgery discouraged because of potential for infection. I would’ve appreciated a heads-up prior to consult that he’s leaving this practice for one that doesn’t accept Medicare patients.

Dr. Ashraf has a very friendly disposition and provides all the options as part of th treatment option including the surgical options.

My experience with Dr Ashraf was a great one. Dr Ashraf is very courteous, very prefessional, and genuine. He cares about you and your well being. I would no hesitate to come back here or refer anyone to Dr Ashraf.

Dr. Ashraf is caring physician and a great surgeon. I was really on the fence about getting my ACL reconstruction done. He was very understanding about my concerns and did not push me to get my surgery. He gave me the time to decide after doing my own research. The surgery and post-op course was smooth and uneventful. The PT followed Dr. Ashraf's protocol and I recovered really well. His office team were very helpful and always available to answer my calls and re-schedule appointments. I am very pleased with the service they provided for me and I would recommend him to all of my family and friends.

Dr. Ashraf was extremely patient with me and let me know the risks of both approaches. He always explained everything in great detail and cared about my well being.

I saw Dr. Ashraf for both my knee and my shoulder. He knew exactly what was wrong and did surgery on both. I am 100% again from both injuries. He is a great doctor and very professional.

With Dr. Ashraf this unfortunate experience with ankle was a seamless recovery process from the initial visit, to the surgery and post surgery follow ups. He’s been nothing but great and I hope I don’t ever break nothing again, but if I do I will only be requesting Dr. Ashraf.

A great professional orthopedic surgeon who knows what he says and keeps his word. He is very knowledgeable of his profession. I have Alhamdulillah a better knee. Definitely recommend him.
