Poor communication
Referred by PCP. I made several attempts to schedule an appointment. Each time receptionist promised a call back. Never received a follow-up. PCP acknowledged this was his reputation.

Dr. Emami is my primary care, (or was, i am looking for new PCP) and the only job that he has to refer you to specialty, and he fails to do that. He makes to go there for an appointment to give you referral for specialty, and doing so he fails to provide that. It has been 4 months now, I called the office more than 100 times, I went to his office and talked to himself personally and he promised to take care of the matter himself, nothing has happened yet.

Dr. Emami does not believe in chronic illness. In fact he claimed to me “you don’t look sick”. I have also been waiting 3 weeks for a referral which made me miss my neuro appt. do not see this provider as they do not care about patient safety

Dr. Emami told me I had stage 1 kidney disease ,very common. I went to him 3 times after blood work and was assured that my condition hadn't changed. I took the same lab work to my internal med dr. and she told me I had stage 3 kidney disease. I called Dr Emami's office and had to leave a message. I did and begged him to call me back. Left 2 other messages & he never called me
