Dr. Sobh is a very nice person, however his surgery on my hip left me with a permanent limp. I would take competent over nice any day. Sad I can’t recommend.

I felt disrespected as a New Patient - having to wait over an hour in the Examination room - with No explanations of the delay - I was looking forward to working with Dr Sobh - unfortunately, I left, feeling sad and disappointed

When our 102 year old mother fell and broke her femur recently it presented a very difficult and challenging case due to her age and previous leg and hip repairs in that same area. Complicating the major surgery was additional challenges with her heart, but with the assistance of the cardiac anesthesia team, the surgery was very successful. The recovery and rehab will be long and challenging, but that is to be expected for someone of her age.

Had a left hip replacement a week ago by Dr. Sobh. Very happy with the care I received at his office and the hospital. I am healing much faster with the anterior approach that he used than my last hip replacement which was posterior. I am walking within a week and was off pain pills in four days. The recovery time is so much faster. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Sobh for this kind of surgery!

Dr. Sobh was very friendly and personable. Explained what to expect with the TKN surgery as well as the Mako Robotic Assisted surgery. Very informative and confident in this procedure. I broke my hip in an ice skating fall. Went to ER in Troy. Dr. Sobh, whom I had not previously met, volunteered to come in, prescribed hip replacement as long-term solution and performed on schedule. Incision was from the side. Three hours after he finished I walked 40 feet with little more than acetaminophen for pain (I didn't have any pain)! While I am following his guidance on activities and movement, I feel almost back to my old self now 10 days after my operation. I give lots of credit for my quick recovery to the excellent work of Dr. Sobh. In pre-op and at my 10-day check up, Dr. Sobh was very friendly and spent time answering my list of questions. He was also very kind to explain the timeline for full recovery. I highly recommend Dr. Sobh!

Excellent Doctor. He did a knee replacement 2 months ago and I am doing great and my scar is nearly invisible. I will go to Dr. Sobh if I ever decide to get my other knee done. I would highly recommend him.

Knows all the latest techniques including anterior approach and in the operating room x-ray equipment for proper measurements. Has great personal approach, is easy to talk with and answers all your questions. He met with me before and after surgery in person at the hospital. Received his Doctorate at Wayne State, his Residency at Royal Oak Beaumont, and one year of specialization training in Chicago. He has been in practice for over 6 years and done thousands of these operations. I Highly recommend him for your hip replacement surgery.

Dr Sobh was very kind and didn’t rush through the office visits before or after the surgery. He made himself available for questions and put us at ease for this 91 year old patient. Totally happy with the outcome!

Dr Sobh gave me back my life. My knees hurt so bad I could hardly walk. He replaced my right knee first and my left a few weeks later. Now after finishing my therapy I'm a new man. No pain and about a half inch taller! Very appreciative.
