On my 4th visit - He acted like he had never seen me before. Bizarre. On my 3rd visit we discussed a possible procedure. I told him I would first confer with my primary cardiologist.When I attempted to start the conversation with 'I have spoken with 'DR X', he stopped me mid -word with a terse 'Let's start over.' He then asked me for 'DR X's name, spelled out and a phone number. He then seemed surprised when I didn't have his CELL phone. He asked me questions as if he had NEVER seen me before. It was truly bizarre. I answered his questions accordingly. He seemed perplexed why he was seeing me. I left the 'visit' feeling like it was GroundHog Day. Mind you he was all gung-Ho on visit 3 to get his prescribed procedure 'rolling'. It's mind boggling. Don't waste your precious time on this guy. Seriously.

Dr. Mithani invited questions; however, when we asked, he said we were, "attacking," him. He performed a test without following the testing guidelines (less than half as long, didn't administer any of the medication to induce symptoms, etc). When asked why it was so different, we were, "cross-examining," him. Upon return to orig cardiologist, we described Mithani's appt and test, as well as results Mithani gave post-test. He literally did a double-take! He slowly repeated what we said, confiming he had heard us correctly. He then immediately referred us to a different, more specialized doctor in the area of treatment required. 3-months and dozens of extremely detailed tests later, the suspected diagnosis was confirmed (same one that had been carelessly dismissed by Mithani, after the poorly administered test). *Not only that*, the new specialist found another issue Mithani would have never found, would never have looked for - potentially contributing to serious future harm.
