Dr. Ali Nasser, MD

Dr Nasser was exceptionally rude, condescending & dismissive to my daughter during her visit. We would not recommend him & will never go back. She actually left in tears because of how he spoke to her. He should be ashamed of himself for bullying a pregnant woman with heart concerns.

I was impressed with Dr. Nasser. He took the time to explore all of my medical records and freely offered me advice to improve my health. I was impressed and feel lucky to have him on my team!

He took me off five of the six heart medications I needed after my heart surgery and still had AFib which you said was caused by sleep apnea.. dude I just had heart surgery because my heart was active with two electrical systems. Plus a heart attack.. did sleep apnea cause me a heart attack?? Give me a break this guy is arrogant and doesn't ask you any questions. I felt like I was going through TSA at the airport. Move it along move it along..lol. finally went to a cardiologist who actually saved my life and did an ablation on me and now I no longer have AFib which was 120 to 28 beats a minute now I'm at 56 to 75 beats per minute. Thank God I didn't listen to this guy. Ridiculous

Dr Nasser is probably the worst doctor I’ve ever seen. He was rude and arrogant and a couple of times, almost bright me to tears! My husband was with me and even said he was wrong in his approach and needs to work on his bedside manner. I have chronic kidney disease and he tells me all the blood work I’ve had done is wrong and I don’t have CKD. I also wear an estrogen patch, which has to be placed below the belly button, he wants to tell me I can put it right on my breast and that’s where it needs to go. I weighed 138 in his office and he tells me I’m under weight. He didn’t even look at my echo, which shows a problem with my left ventricle. He needs to stick to his training and stop trying to be a nephrologist and a hormone doctor! I won’t be going back to him!!

I was admitted to advent health with problems attributed to my cardiovascular system. They admit me for one night. This was my 3rd admission within 2 weeks. He sends his np to see me. I said I wanted to see my dr. He refused and the next thing i know I’m kicked out. Terrible

On time and pleasent. Very Helpful. Very knowledgeful. Dependable.

Dr. Nasser is the best! He is knowledgeable and cares about his patients.

I am an established patient. I cannot talk to a person! Just sit and wait on phone. Sometimes they never answer! I need an appt. Asap Since I’m having an issue but cannot see the dr. Let alone talk to anyone that cares. Call back people are rude! How do I see my doctor when having an issue with concern????

When we really needed him he was not there and had no explanation and showed no remorse

Took 2 months to get in after my regular cardiologist was taken out of network. Waited about an hour to go back. David the PA was great. Dr Nasser proceeded to tell me my thyroid was too low and that I needed to change one of the meds I was taking. I AND MY HOLISTIC DR WORRY ABOUT MY THYROID not my cardiologist. My thyroid is fine. They have my pharmacy of choice listed and I wait for 2 days before I call the pharmacy. No prescription. Call the Dr office which is a joke. Yes I know people get put on hold. But after 3 to 4 minutes it sends you to voicemail. You have to keep calling back. I finally get someone and he never put the order in. 3 days later he sends one in that my pharmacy will not fill because I had a bad reaction to a similar medication. They call the doctor 4 different days and leave messages and NO ONE called them back. I called and they said oh I'll leave a message. Mind you this is two weeks in. He re writes it for the same medication. I AM DONE.

Poor, misdiagnosed clogged carotid artery left side. It was Diagnosed by my new cardiologist 99% clogged. I could have had a stroke. Proceeded with surgery. Surgery was a success, surgeon said it was so bad they almost could not operate on it. Dr. Nassar also had me coming in every 3 months which was not necessary. I don't believe he or his staff are competent reading echogram results. This should have been detected. This doctor totally failed me and my health. I had other problems with this doctor but too numerous to mention here.

He is wonderful! Not only is he very competent, but he has wonderful bedside manner, and is concerned about all of your health, not just your heart. I love him!!!

I hit the wrong star this 1st time!

Dr. Nasser is knowledgeable, professional , and caring. You could not hope to have a better physician. I would recommend Dr Nasser to anyone needing care. When I had an emergency trip to the hospital, Dr. Nasser showed up at 10 pm to check on me and to correct the care that I was receiving from the hospitalist. It is no wonder that he is in demand.

Very professional. Takes the time to understand your health issues, explains the problem and what normally causes it. He is also concerned about your overall health in addition to your heart.

Best Cardiologist I've seen in 25 years. Very competent, trusting, knowledgeable and great manner with patient. Would highly recommend him to all.

Don't have a lot of great things to say about most Dr's these days,BUT,If you need a Cardiologist in Ocala,this would be the only one worthy of your business!!He's extra thorough,highly intelligent,Dual Specialty Dr,that won't quit or give up on you,has the answer for all things cardiac related and beyond!!A great guy,very pleasant with a wonderful bedside manner,But,shoots from the hip,I worked for some top[ cardiology fellows in NYC @ Columbia Presby.,this man is good !!!

I had a rare disorder and no one was able to figure it out until I went to see Dr. Nasser. He was able to figure out my issue and give me the correct medication. I am back biking now.
