PROCEED WITH CAUTION
HORRIBLE waited 7 weeks for appt referred by my doctor(former collegue of hers) She told me she did not see the symptoms i was showing and telling her about FROM 4 FEET AWAY. told me she would not treat me and ' MY DOCTOR SHOULD TAKE CARE OF HER OWN PATIENTS AND NOT SEND THEM TO HER'. she stomped out of the room within 5 minutes never having examined me. my condition is painful to varying degrees daily! wasted 7 weeks waiting for a doctor who's lack of compassion is Palpable. if you are looking for a diagnosis and treatmentyou would be better served by googling ! she is RUDE, SELF RIGHTEOUS AND DISRESPECTFULOF HER PATIENT AND PROFESSION. the only oath she took was not HIPPOCRATIC butHYPOCRITE .

Worst experience I ever had at a Doctor's office.
Worst experience I ever had at a Doctor's office. I left in actual tears and refused further treatment from her. I had an appointment with Dr. Alice Gottlieb at Mount Sinai but Dr. Teresa Song was the one who saw me first and asked questions which I already answered on their website. Unprofessional right from the start. I politely answered. She went out and talked to Dr. Gottlieb. Later Dr. Gottlieb came with two trainees. The whole time I was there I sat on the regular chair. I never made it to the examination chair. Dr. Gottlieb didn't touch me at all. I showed her and told her what the problem was. She asked me if I have eczema. I replied yes. She turned to the trainee and said, "See eczema". I had 2 referrals, one for Dermatology and Rheumatology but no question about Rheumatology at all. I went to them because I was experiencing additional symptoms beyond eczema. They were supposed to be specialists in Autoimmune Diseases, Dermatology, and Rheumatology

Reputed doctor; incompetent residents
In the 2nd appt, I had to repeat all of the case details despite having provided my symptoms diary, other specialist's notes, test results etc in *printed* form in the 1st appt. W/o exaggeration, I got less than 30 seconds w/ Dr Gottlieb. Most of the time was spent by the resident filling in their notes, asking me questions that I had already answered in detail in the 1st appt. After the 1st appointment, another resident (Dr Avi Bitterman), gave me a wrong (on the basis of one of the tests showing a *slightly* low number; diagnosis requires 2-3 different test numbers to be on the lower side) life-threatening diagnosis over email. He then followed up w/ a call upon my request but gave me little explanation of the disease. Dr Gottlieb then overturned the diagnosis in 2nd appt. Dr Alice Gottlieb is reputed, but the residents (especially Dr Bitterman) seem overly confident (Dunning–Kruger effect) despite poor diagnostic skills & patient communication.
