Not likely: Had an appt. for a consultation 3/21 driving in from Monterey. Called week before asking about appt & I was coming from Monterey. 3/21, called would be about 5-10 mins. late &get directions. Receptionist check with dr. said to reschedule. I came from Monterey, hr. on the road. She checked Dr. again, again reschedule. She didn't even offer another time Thurs or Friday, I was in town 2days. Really-4 dr. in office no one could do 20 consult. I am in business too. Understanding??

The doctor did a sigmoidoscopy because she "forgot" to place a dye (or "tattoo" as she called it) on my polyp that required surgical removal while performing a routine colonoscopy. In addition, after my surgery, I had a follow up colonoscopy to ensure everything was OK. She removed 3 polyps. Of course it was cause for alarm because I assume these would have been caught and removed during the first round. I asked her point blank if they were aggressive growths or if she forgot or didn't see them.

I have just started seeing her for some GI issues I have been having for a few years, and she immediately ordered tests. I appreciate how fast she is to move forward with finding out what is wrong with me since she has gotten farther in one appointment than my last physician did in 2 years.
