The gratitude that I have for Dr. Mateo is hard to even put into words. Simply put, she saved my life. After being brushed off by so many doctors as having a simple cyst despite getting sicker by the day, Dr. Mateo diagnosed me with IDC within 24 hours of my first visit. The compassion and attention to detail Dr.Mateo and her team possess is unmatched. She performed my double mastectomy recently and I’m so grateful to have had her as my provider. I can’t recommend her enough and I will always be so grateful to have found her.

Dr. Mateo performed my mastectomy along with reconstruction by Dr. Kanchwala. The results were fantastic. An amazing surgical tram. Dr. Mateo is a very caring physician and has an amazing bedside manor.

De. Mateo performed my skin and nipple sparing mastectomy in September and I could not be more pleased with the results. My incision was teeny nd my nipples and skin were left in perfect condition. I had reconstruction 2 weeks later by Dr. Kanchwa. These 2 are an absolute dream team! If you are diagnosed with breast cancer, I encourage you to schedule with Dr. Mateo. She truly cares about getting you healthy and is an incredible surgeon. So, so blessed that I found her!
