Dr. Alireza Katouzian, MD

Every visit I've had he's very sympathetic and very understanding. He never says that your pain isn't real. He really does understand what I'm going through because he has a similar one. He's rare. His assistant Lori. Is a complete sweetheart! I love her to pieces and I'd do anything for her.She's amazing.

Dr. Katuzian implanted the NEVRO Spinal Cord Stimulator into my lower back area for my severe sciatic pain. I was very impressed with the entire protocol/procedure in getting this surgery done, for learning about the entire procedure, the two different testing times with both products and ALL the education and follow through, through the entire process…before, during and after! Dr.Katuzian has a true calming effect so I felt that my entire experience was not terribly frightening nor not nearly as painful as traditional back surgery. I could actually get up off of the surgery table and walk (with assistance of course) to my car for the ride home. Definitely, this Implant has helped me with almost all of my pain so I really highly recommend this procedure and I also highly recommend Dr. Katuzian!

My EPI went sideways. Nurse who called to check on me two days told me I was fine. I was not fine, ended up in ER and was given OXY. I spent the next two weeks under the covers in bed waiting for my next pill. I called his office a couple of times and practically had to demand an appointment. Not happy with his response and indifferent attitude. He told me to come back eight weeks. Goodbye to you Dr. K.

Dr. Katuzian is terrible. I’ve has pain for years and seen over 15 doctors. Dr katouzian is by far the worst. After waiting over an hour every time I’ve had an appointment he’s spent less than 5 minutes. My last appointment I waited over 90 minutes and when he finally decided to show up he spent less than 3 minutes. He also NEVER apologizes for running so late. He hasn’t been able to treat my condition either. He doesn’t seem to care. He’s assistant, Laurie, is always rude too. Awful doctor
