No Bed Side Manner
Urgent Care @ Olive View Sylmar. I felt like I was being cared for by an AI chatbot. No bedside manner or friendliness whatsoever. I asked about the possibility of my condition being something more serious (as I was showing symptoms of it) and she said that my symptoms were not that of the more serious condition and completely negated my concern. Any medical textbook will tell you that my symptoms could possibly be caused by the more serious condition that I asked about. It didn't feel like I was dealing with another human being.This is probably a combination of the failing American health system with overworked doctors and nurses being depleted of any sort of emotional constitution to deliver appropriate care to our community members and Dr. Bekkers cold personality.Dr. Bekker did conduct two lab culture tests for me (not a rapid same day test for reasons I do not know), and she did tell me to feel better as I left so there was a modicum of humanity there.Avoid if possible.
