Glad I got a new doctor
Ive had three experiences with Dr. Dillon , with each child. Collectively I can now notice her behaviors. I always knew she was direct and to the point. I always left with fear, and she talked down to me. By the third child I realized this was her and I didn’t like it. My latest experience was terrible. She started appointment by saying my child I was carrying was perfect but a could get a condition where they would “have to give me a hysterectomy with my live child and cause termination of pregnancy “ then she continues to talk says “but she’s hopefully optimistic. LIKE WHAT. I didn’t even have this condition! ALSO, she answered a personal call while we were talking. New MFM at better hospital said that’s absolutely ridiculous that she said that and that never happens. It’s like she wants to present fear or she is just out of the times of new medicine. I switched doctors andI feel more confident in my new healthcare team and safer at MUSC. I didn’t trust her. I would not reccommend.

2nd pregnancy with Dr. Dillon and we are grateful!
First of all, Dr. Dillon is awesome! She helps explain complicated medical information so that it is easy to understand. It is very obvious that Dr. Dillon cares about each and every one of her patients due to the time her and her team take to run tests and review each case. I love that she is very direct, so I am never worried that I am missing any information. I feel totally taken care of by Dr. Dillon and her team. She makes a high risk pregnancy way less complicated and I feel at ease after each appointment. Thank you, Dr. Dillon and team! Y’all are truly the best!

Professional and Personable Doctor
Dr. Dillon is highly knowledgeable and also very good at sharing her knowledge. Somehow she even makes this anxious Dad understand what is going on! We have been with her through multiple pregnancies and she has been nothing short of fantastic. We do prefer her set up at East Cooper (Daniel Island) and appreciate the time she spends with us during the appointments to inform us of what is going on and to discuss everything with us.

Openly hostile, argumentative and incompetent.
Firing Dr. Dillon was the best possible move for my wife and I. She is openly hostile to interact with and provides poor advice in areas in which she lacks a specialty, including trying to override actual specialists. She will speak to you like a scared teenager that’s on their first pregnancy no matter what your personal situation is. Given the usual quality of East Cooper’s staff, to interact with someone this incompetent was a shock. The level of care she provides is embarrassing. My family is switching MFM’s and Dr. Dillon will never contact any of us again.

I've been a patient for many years when Dr. Dillon was in Mt. Pleasant and it was convenient to get to her office. However, she was perpetually behind schedule even in such a small office. When she moved permanently to West Ashley, I felt like I was going to a drive-thru. The entire appointment was rushed and impersonal - not my previous experience at all. It was all automated, where in the past she would sit and talk to me first - sadly will not be back.

Well I don't get enough space to rant about my experience here, so in short..... my appointment was at 3pm, had an ultrasound, the tech was awesome. but.... didn't get to see the dr until 5:10 (I think she was suppose to be done at 5) bc she was checking her phone, the alarm on phone went off and she had to pick up a pie from the store... wth! NOT HAPPY! when your pregnant and you need questions answered, you want the drs full attention...

Dr. Dillon is an amazing doctor. She is straightforward and direct, but I love it because you know you will always get the truth, directly. She doesn't hedge around issues leaving me with more questions than answers like some doctors do. One time she didn't know the answer and she went out and called a specialist, then came back in and told me what they said so we could make the decision together. Wow! How many doctors would take the time to be absolutely certain about answers! Great doctor!
