Dr. Alison Pletch, MD

Performed emergency appendectomy surgery. She is a thoughtful practitioner with a comfortable bedside manner. She was attentive throughout my surgical experience and provided good follow-up post-operative care. She was knowledgeable, listened to my concerns, answered questions, and offered suggestions.

Dr. Pletch when above and beyond to see that my husband's very delayed and challenging surgery took place. When we first met in the emergency room, Dr. Pletch carefully explained what would transpire. My husband was an 'add-on' patient on the surgical floor that was delayed for 3 days due to other higher prioritized procedures. By the 4th day, it was still uncertain that he would be on the schedule, Dr. Pletch personally scheduled herself for the surgery. Once in surgery, the Dr. was faced with what she termed an 'unusual anatomy' and was able to take the gallbladder out after an uncustomary 4 hr process. She then met with our family to describe what happened and what she did to rectify. She more than exceeded our expectations.
