Dr. Alison Schini, MD

The Dr has been very helpful, warm and open in treating our son. She has been down to earth and very supportive of our needs on an ongoing basis for the last 2+ years.

I have seen Dr. Schini approximately 5 times. She is very competent identifying lesions that need to be biopsied (thus the 2 star rating). She has done several biopsies for me that have come back basal cell carcinoma. With each subsequent visit I feel she's become more condescending, complains that she is running behind & is very dismissive---certainly gives you the impression that you are not a priority nor does she care if you're there or not. I would rate her demeanor & bedside manner a zero. I will not return to see her as there are plenty of dermatologists who have a much higher rating than she does. As a retired nurse I can say she would do well just performing in an OR on anesthetized patients where she does not have to interact with the client.

Not impressed. I have to agree fully with the other reviews that her presence is rude and arrogant. I felt bad for her assistant. Her cryotherapy approach left a dent in my nose...that has never been a problem with any past dermatologist I have seen. Park Nicollet will not remedy the situation. Never going back!

Arrogant and rude. Did not appear to have the time or interest in seeing me. It felt as if I was wasting her time and she was angry.

DO NOT SEE Dr. Schini. Waited 3 MONTHS to get this appointment after seeiseeing urgent care. After explaining my situation to the nurse, schini entered the room she immediately started talking to me like I was a child who had done something wrong. She talked with an elevated voice like I was being reprimanded and sent me packing with a handful of drugstore soap samples. Told me washing my face is a choice I have to make. Didn’t seem to care for someone who works as a healthCARE professiona

I love Dr. Schini. I even drive way out of my way to go to her clinic. She's takes the time to listen, she hears what you say and then gives her opinion on treatment giving you the ultimate choice.
