love dr finlayson and the staff here. Have been a patient once a month for over 6-7 yrs now, and the only issues I've ever had have been miscommunications or paperwork problems (hate insurance so much! lol)

Dr. Finlayson saved my life several years ago. Literally. I’ve seen over 30 practitioners over the years, most of whom mismanaged my care. Dr. Finlayson knows how to correctly diagnose and treat mental illness without overprescribing psychotropic drugs, many of which carry the propensity of deadly side effects. Thank God, I’m able to be under his care again. I would highly recommend him.

Finlayson is the last person you should trust with your well being. Finlayson cancelled ALL my psych meds on the spot. From my encounter with this loathsome character, it took me two months to be able to get regulated on psych meds for depression and anxiety. The setback he proved to be was considerable. He attempted to take my freedom under FALSE pretenses. Do NOT trust this man or HIS hospital with your well being and safety. He is the most toxic physician I've met. Go anywhere else. RUN AWAY!

Dr. Finlayson was unprofessional and gave little regard to the negative impact his actions caused. This was displayed by him slamming the phone down in anger, and refusal to describe objective reasons for his actions. He is a smart individual as noted by his board certifications, though I believe he lacks empathy and compassion for his patients and their family. I would absolutely never return to Dr. Finlayson for treatment, evaluation, or advice, nor would I even send my worst enemy to him.
