Run away from this not so doctor
Run away from this doctor, because of her lack of knowledge and inability to recognize severity of his situation, my husband who was only 61 years old died of lymphoma in 2023. She treated him with standard course of chemo, but when first treatment showed mixed results, she failed to advise us that it would be better to work with another institution that had newest treatment for my husbands situation. When my husband fell at home after round of chemo and we came to her office and she saw his face, she just laughed and said that he does not have any luck. But later when CT revealed hematoma from the fall she was very afraid and stated do not worry about tumor, worry about hematoma. After 2 weeks, when my husbands condition worsened, she stated that she did not think that tumor will be growing so fast. This so called doctor does not show respect, does not care about patient, and more importantly, does not have enough knowledge or will to fight cancer.

Avoid at all costs
Avoid at all costs. You are better off being untreated and dying in peace than coming here and being humiliated and shamed for no reason. What an evil wench.

Dr. Gimelfarb was recommended by my internet. The appointment was on time and Dr. Gimelfarb was communicative, professional and a pleasure. She explained everything and did not rush. She ordered tests and personally called with the results. Also sent results and advice thru North Shore Connect. Could not ask for more. I would recommend herb

Worst Oncologist In Northshore Ever
Dr. Gilmelfarb is a phony who is nice one day and evil the next. She doesn't prep you for your chemo and shows little interest in side-effects. She couldn't care if you are hurting, nauseated or in tremendous pain. She mentions nothing about neuropathy which almost everyone gets. This is the worst doctor I have ever had and my life improved 100% the day I fired her and got someone with empathy and common sense.

Dr. Gimelfarb definitely does not listen to patients. Her appointments are rushed and she is diagnosing based on the health history or other doctors’ work she found in the patient’s profile. Does not listen patient’s concerns nor trying to find an alternative treatment. During her appointments acts like a teenager rather than sophisticated doctor. Will not go back to her.

Dr. Gimalfarber is the worst doctor I have ever experienced. She gave me no preparation before chemotherapy. I was totally unprepared. She did not address neuropathy or nausea beforehand to prepare me. She was unavailable when I was in crisis after suffering severe side-effects. She was unapologetic after finding out how I suffered. She just fluffed her hair and moved on to the next subject. There was no way I would continue with an unkind and calloused person who was completely unprofessional. I got up and left. I have had a great recovery elsewhere without that queen prancing around playing favorites. She even yelled at me when the nurse left the office and claimed I made up all of my symptoms and they weren't real. What an evil individual cloaked as a princess. Flip a coin on who you will get. And look at the reviews. She had all bad reviews and in Jan 2021 she begged all her clients to offset the bad reviews. They are a phony attempt to look good.

Dr. Gimelfarb took the time to ask relative questions and actually listened to my answers. She explained the why of my issue and the how to manage/fix the issue. She made me feel very comfortable and took the time needed for the appointment. She did not rush me at all, which is very refreshing.

Dr. Gimelfarb is a doctor who plays favorites. If she likes you she gives you good treatment otherwise she treats you like dirt. She withholds medicine when needed and I have proof of this. Do yourself a favor and get another oncologist. She is good in a lab but not with ordinary people who are hurting.

Dr. Gimelfarb is professional and thorough. She is attentive to my symptoms and concerns. She is a brilliant physician who understands my disease, along with explaining the various treatment options. Dr. Gimelfarb is also knowledgeable on clinical trials available at her facility as well as the global advancements of my disease. When I was initially diagnosed, Dr. Gimelfarb spent a lot of time with me and my spouse and extended family. She acted quickly at a time that was upsetting and shocking to my family and me. She was reassuring and calming.

Dr. Gemelfarb treated my mother for severe anemia, a complication following a surgical procedure. I couldn't be happier with the care, understanding, and professionalism Dr. Gimelfarb had shown, especially since we were at the height of a pandemic. She was able to evaluate and schedule an infusion on the same day, so my elderly mother didn't have to come back to the hospital for unnecessary visits! I can't thank or recommend Dr. Gimelfarb enough.

Two years ago I was diagnosed with lymphoma and turned to Dr. Gimelfarb for help. The care and treatment was like I was her close relative or friend. Throughout this time and until now, I have received very professional help and advice from a person who sincerely cared about me and knew how to use her vast experience. I feel great and sincerely recommend Dr. Gimelfarb to any patient with similar conditions. Trust me, I had the opportunity to compare different doctors. Dr. Gimelfarb is one of the best and I would entrust my life to her again.

I just discovered the negative reviews for Dr. Gimelfarb and I am thankful that I did not see them before coming to see her. The negative reviews could not be further from truth or reality. Dr. Gimelfarb literally saved my life. I have been under her care for the past 6 months, in the midst of pandemic and everything else that is going on in the world that made my situation so much worse. She was caring, patient, extremely attentive and incredibly insightful. She was the 3rd doctor I saw and to be honest, I was loosing hope. Yet, here I am, back on my feet with an excellent prognosis as a result of her actions. If your life depends on it, go see her!

I'd HIGHLY recommend Dr. Gimelfarb for your care. We interviewed three doctors before moving forward with treatment and care plan she recommended. Dr. Gimelfarb navigated us through all stages of dealing with disease with great care and expertise. Our entire family is much more comfortable now and very grateful to her. I would highly recommend her as your doctor. Her experience and guidance are simply invaluable.

Years ago I passed out behind the wheel of my car, that was the first indication I was severely anemic. I had every test there was, except the one that I needed to show I had a terrible hiatal hernia. The hernia had pushed my stomach up into my ribcage. Dr. Gimelfarb was the first doctor to order the final test that showed what my situation was. Based on that test I had surgery to reposition my stomach, so now I am not getting ulcers or constant internal bleeding. Thanks to Dr. Gimelfarb's expertise and kindness, I now have a new lease on life. I have not felt this good in ten years. I cannot say enough kind words about Dr. Gimelfarb.
