Quack,Tried to sue but was impossible. Hard to see the doctor or a hospital in mercer, PA—was told. Ruined my foot and at least five other people that I know. Did you go to Cleveland Clinic for some relief but not much. Damage was done.

Dr. Evangelista has been referred to as “scalpel happy” by other medical professionals. We found this out the hard way. My husband was told he was “the best of the best”, so when he suggested 7 surgeries on my husband’s foot on the same day, we trusted him. My husband woke from the surgery in horrible pain, and 3 years later, he still lives with it daily. Nerves were clipped in the surgery, causing permanent damage and excruciating pain - as well as many other long lasting detrimental effects, such as drop-foot. The doctor mysteriously disappeared from the practice where the surgery was done right after this. My husband will be disabled for the rest of his life because of it. I wouldn’t take a stray animal to this man.

Super nice and caring doctor, he did surgery on my foot for plantar fascia, after surgery he made it clear that I could call him any time over the weekend and he would be available for me, I now have no pain or problems with my feet, highly recommend this Dr

I had issues with my foot and when I would ask him questions about what I should do about it he constantly gave me "know it all" remarks. He was rude, and I hope he takes this criticism into consideration and changes his attitude towards his patients because I did not feel like he cared.

Dr. Evangelista performed a bunion surgery on my right foot. He performed it on December 8, 2016 it is now February 27, 2017 and it is still not healing. He also quit the office he was working at 4 weeks after my surgery. My new doctor found out he left gauze in my foot. I highly recommend to not go to him.

Dr Evangelista rocks. Best foot doctor and surgeon out there. My son plays AAA ice hockey and he reconstructed both his feet and gave him arches so he can continue his quest to the NHL. He was born severely flat footed and without the surgery to correct this , he would have had to walk away from hockey . Thanks to Dr. E that didn't happen and he will have his shot at the NHL now someday. ??

Dr. Evangelista proposed to perform a surgery on my ankle that was doomed to fail. By the time I saw Dr. Evangelista, I had read extensively in NIH studies and in academic foot/ankle surgery journals and had talked to multiple ankle surgeons. Therefore, I knew that the surgery Dr. Evangelista offered was contrary the surgery that I needed and that the surgery he proposed would have caused extensive damage.

Major problems with a surgery this man is a PODIATRIST...remember, he is NOT an orthopedic surgeon. I have had years of complications after letting him fix an ankle fracture, and have been told by specialists I am lucky I haven't lost my leg from above the knee. I would never recommend, and he has a very rude personality and was rude to my family when a scheduled surgery for 2 hours turned into an 8 hour surgery. Wish I had listened to others when I was told to STAY AWAY.

In my own opinion I am one of many with less than poor results from my foot surgery. Much worse than if I didn't have the surgery. I should have listened to the disgruntled patient I met in his office. Please, please get a second opinion before proceeding.
