I agree with another reviewer. He is very good with a short term issue and is empathetic but it is expensive and not a long term solution. Good for venting and to help in a crisis mode. Calm energy.

When my doctor retired, I went to Dr. Melmed because I needed someone to monitor a medication I had been taking for years. He charged me $300 for an initial 30 minute appt and then $150 for subsequent 15 min appts. He would write prescriptions with no refills, so I had to go back each time to get another scrip and give him another $150. All in cash/check which makes me wonder about certain things. He never impressed me as a person who went into medicine to help people, only $$$$$.
