Dr. Allegra Tenkman, MD

I have been with Dr. Tenkman for several years. Even after she moved locations, I make the drive because I will see no one else. She has a very calming demeaner about her and she is genuine. I was seeing a psychiatrist associated with her for well over a year that helped me tremendously through my divorce when no one else could. After finding out that I could no longer see the psychiatrist bc she was no longer with Tenkmans office , It was an easy decision for me to follow Tenkman and reestablish with a new psychiatrist vs staying with the psychiatrist and getting a new PCP. I speak highly of her to anyone looking for a new PCP.

If I could give her more stars I would. She has been an excellent doctor for my whole family and has helped us through some pretty rough times. In a world where doctors over schedule and are expected to spend less than 5 minutes with their patients -she spends as much time as needed to help her patients with whatever ailment they are dealing with and even asks about other family members because she cares if they are doing well. Great bedside manner -we need more doctors like her!

Dr. Tenkman is a very good listener. She is thorough and in her evaluation of my symptoms, and provides excellent care and decision making for my health needs. I never feel rushed and I always feel like she really cares about me and my all around health. I recommend her highly.
