Good Care
Saw Dr Abello in the Centennial Hills ER, although they were very very busy he took the time to listen and respond. Explained plan and followed up with findings.

Doctor without a clue
This doctor rounded on my daughter and didn't take the appropriate steps in order to find out what was wrong with her. I'm a seasoned RN and we had multiple issues with my daughters care. She came in with Respiratory issues and he didn't even perform a respiratory panel for her. It was only after my friend (a CCRN,) asked the nurse to get a panel. The doctor didn't feel that my daughter needed follow up tests on abnormal labs (lactic acid-an indication of sepsis, and d dimers,) but I get that since she had scans that were negative. But still, just put the orders on if the family is asking!I also saw that when the nurse messaged him- he said he MIGHT be able to call me back. IF he had time. Why bother being a doctor if you can't even communicate to the family? He didn't even talk to my daughter after rounding and seeing her chart.
