Dr. Allen Rossetti-Chung, MD

I'm not a patient but I am a close family member of one. Grandma has undergone quite a year between all of the examinations and oncology treatments. Being 77 years old and a non-english speaker, who is also hard of hearing, only added to her challenge. We met so many doctors on this journey, even traveling up to Boston.I want to share what Grandma said to me as we left Dr. Rossetti-Chung's office last month. Covering her own mouth as she walks behind me, I see her shoulders twitching and then noticed how her eyes smiled as she says 'I don't know but when I visit this doctor, he makes me feel happy'. So thank you for your intelligence, experience, kindness and warmth to Grandma. She experienced all of the emotions from fear to anger at the early stages and you helped us get through it with reassurance and encouragement. Thank YOU and YOUR TEAM for genuinely checking in with Grandma through some of our difficult days and treating her like a human and not just another case load.

Anyone who hears the word Cancer immediately becomes fearful about their future, as was in my case. I met Dr. Chung without knowing the future of my life & the journey I was about to take. I knew nothing about the procedure, treatments & appts. regarding my radiation treatments. I took a liking when I first met Dr. Chung from the minute he walked in the door. His personality & bedside manner immediately told me I was with the right doctor who was going to take me in his care, treat me with respect & compassion as we took this journey together. I knew nothing about what was going to be done to me, yet every step was explained to me. His kindness, compassion & concern for me, as I was in such a fearful state of the “not knowing” help ease the tension, anxiety and fear. Dr. Chung, his Assistants, Lucy and Kierra, treated me with the utmost respect, compassion & kindness. Great concern and shows empathy

Dr. Rossetti-Chung was very upbeat and easy to talk to . . . I was there for a two-year follow up for breast cancer, which had been treated with a lumpectomy and radiation.

Dr. Rossetti-Chung made me feel very comfortable since it was my first time meeting withhim. He was very knowledgeable about my condition and made me feel at ease and confident about my prognosis. He spent ample time with me explaining my future with having breast cancer. I would definitely recommend him to friends and family members.
