I had 2 lumps excision yesterday, and I woke up this morning with 0/10 pain and clean looking incisions. I could not have asked for a better breast surgeon. And this was my second choice doctor, I was about to cancel her appointment before I even met her. But decided to still go see her. She approached the examination room with a detailed hand written note on her notepad about my complete medical history. She knew me more than myself within the 5 min of initial interview. She said, " I will take care of you. Awe ! thank you for choosing me. " She was so humble and compassionate. The office was so prompt with making all the F/U appointments. They got me in for the earliest surgery date. My encounter with the Dr. and the entire Baptist East hospital crew has been the best of my experiences. Thank Goodness for my primary care physician to refer me to her and Thank Goodness for my instinct to choose her over my first option.

AWESOME! Dr Hatmaker took time to explain my condition and my options that I didn't feel so scared about the procedure (mastectomy). She's very conscientious and kind. I couldn't ask for a better breast surgeon. She's answer to my prayers. Her nurse and staff were all very nice too. Will recommend her in a heartbeat.

I had a nipple sparring mastectomy and she did an excellent job! Whenever I go visit her she's ready with my chart and test results. She spends time answering my questions. I remember on the day of my surgery, in the OR before the anesthesia kicked in, she came over looked at me in the eye and said "I will take care of you. You will be ok". I can't say enough good things about this Doctor. No wonder she's highly recommend by many.
