Plushcare's Dr. Allison Lovell, MD was revoltingly impolite and dismissive. This physician was insensitive to my well-being, my emotions, and the current state of my health. While I was responding to a question she asked, she abruptly stated "Excuse Me" as if I were "Interrupting" her. This physician lacks all compassion, and I would strongly discourage anyone from seeking her care, particularly if they are ill. Calling a doctor should be simple; doing so should not feel like you are being reprimanded in front of the school principal.

The worst experience I’ve ever had with a healthcare provider. She was belittling and smug. Also, she had no idea what she was talking about clinically (I’m a physician). I remain shocked by how badly she treated me.

Terrible Bedside Manner
Telehealth
PlushCare video visit. She is very condescending and rude. Acts like you're bothering her. I can see why she works on PlushCare via video. I don't even want to imagine how she treats patients in person. Find a different doctor.

Great experience, don't listen to the haters
Telehealth
I had an awesome experience with Dr. Lovell on PlushCare, a telemedicine service. She was kind and knowledgeable, and asked all the right questions. She listened to me while I explained my medical history and what RX's I've been taking. She offered her sage advice and refilled my RX's, and was never rude or condescending. I already scheduled a follow-up visit and made her my official Primary Care Provider. Strongly recommended!

It's Hard to Summarize How Poorly this Went
Dr. Lovell was incredibly rude, condescending, and offended me multiple times during our visit. It's been three weeks and I'm still thinking about how upsetting our appointment was for me. Do not go to this woman under any conditions. She said to me "you are a grown woman, control your weight and learn how to eat better" over my hashimotos condition. AWFUL

This doctor was so extremely rude to my daughter that it blows my mind. I will be contacting the tele med service to get my money back. She told my daughter to eat oats to help her face. Dear God!! She called her by the wrong name. She kept on asking her stupid questions and things that had already been put on the forms. Not only is she a quack but she is a rude one at that. No words. She is such a joke!!!

Best doctor I’ve had as a primary - and now can’t see her because stupid Fallbrook healthcare let her go - and can’t see her where she is working now. Fallbrook is still only has a doctor with less than 5 years experience I think -who was extremely cruel to me when I went to my monthly appt - a week after the love of my life of 30 years passed away in less than an hour from an unknown hernia ) and 2 nurse practitioners.

Best doctor I’ve ever had. Listened, working with me on my conditions- BP, Strokes, Diabetes .,I had been going there around 10 and been thru many of their doctors - she was the absolute best. Fallbrook Clinic let her go - They replaced her with a horrible person - won’t even call her a DR - with a whole 5 years experience and two nurse practitioners I have many medical problems and now I can’t find even a decent doctor.

Dr. Lovell’s philosophy clearly is not something that she abides by. Her treatment of me on multiple appointments has been downright appalling. She literally joked about my weight and dismissed me on one occasion because I was recovering from the flu. I have never experienced someone in the medical field who’s bedside manner was so degrading. I plan on changing dr.s. Warning: do not go to this dr.
