Dr. Allison Smith, MD

Dr Smith did surgery on both of my husband’s eyes. He said that he wished he had this done years ago. Dr Smith is very talented surgeon. My husband and I highly recommend her if you are looking to have cataract surgery. I found out after the fact she did surgery on my sister, sister in law and many many other people in our church and they just sing her praises.

I can't say enough good about Dr. Smith. Been seeing her for a number of years now. She never rushes through an appointment and always offers plenty of time for any questions I've had, and answers those questions in a way I can understand, not with some medical jargon that is above my head. Both Dr. Smith and her staff have always been super friendly and welcoming. Never any issues with appointments or billing.

it was good but i don't see where the office space is bigger it looks smaller to me the waiting area for the patients.

Dr. Allison Smith is always prompt in seeing her patients and takes time to listen to the patient. My first ophthalmologist retired a few years ago and I asked for a recommendation and Dr. Smith was the first name that she highly recommended. I am very pleased.

I’ve been a patient for about three years. Dr. Smith is wonderful. I love her personality and passion for patient care. I wish she wasn’t always running late through. Her staff is one of a kind. I love her newest nurse. She is so passionate about her work and takes her time. I never feel rushed. She is truly the best ever. I alway hope I get her. The lady at the front desk should pay more attention. Every time I’m there she’s always on her cell phone. I’ve even stood there to wait on her to get off her phone. That’s not good customer service.

As a technician working in Ophthalmology for over 20 years, Dr. Smith is one of the best surgeons I have ever worked for. She genuinely cares for her patients. Our new location at St. Thomas West has more space and a nicer waiting area. I look forward to having her do my cataract surgery as she has done for several family members in our office. She has a wonderful bedside manner with her patients and I enjoy working for her.

With all the premier healthcare probiders in Nashville and its surrounding areas., choosing Dr. Smith is a waste of ypur time and possibly your safety. Her waiting ropm is a disaster, overbooking eack visit i have made throughout the surgical process. She is so rushed And seems she is not listening to my concerns because she is either more brilliant than error or disease or she is simply overbooked. If I had to do it again, I would never chance my vision to this woman.
