Dr Wood was very kind and listened to every thing I had to say. I got my results back immediately and was scheduled for procedures quickly when I explained my insurance situation. She diagnosed my problem quickly and made my life much better. I am very grateful for all she has done for me.

Very rude. Was lied to by Adrian. Told me the doctor said she would not be able to fix a particular issue. When I questioned that because Dr. Wood said otherwise while in the office visit she got aggravated and put me on hold, came back and said Dr. Wood said she could fix the issue during the procedure. Then when I got my mother into the surgery center Dr. Wood said she was not going to fix it during the procedure. Rudely complained that I’d called the office several times. Yes, because I am concerned about the fact that I could not get a straight answer from anyone and I am concerned for my mother’s health. Nothing but attitude for asking questions. Very disappointed by this experience.

Had an endoscopy scheduled for February was canceled in January was told there was an issue with them recertifying their Insurance, had 3 phone calls from “Adrian” saying nothing yet... still have not had my endoscopy spoke to Miss Allison Wood today she said that pretty much they couldn’t get paid so I couldn’t get my surgery and instead of telling me that so I can find somebody else that would help me they dragged me on for months!!! And for the record this is my extra email my name is Mitchell Pearson.

Absolute joke. I went in in pain with lifelong GI issues and they did absolutely nothing but take money. They prescribed liquid numbing agent for my pain and sent me on my way. Despite pleading for more information I received nothing but phone calls asking for their thousands of dollars. Do not waste your time buying this woman a nicer car. Go to a real doctor.

I first came to see Dr Wood about 2 years ago over some (what I thought) small stomach issues. She never rushed me as we went over many things with many questions. Eventually I received some scopes and have been diagnosed leading to fairly frequent appointments. My diagnoses have led to a serious emergency this summer during quarantine and required phone consultations and bimonthly physical appointments. At no point did Dr Wood or any of her amazing staff (GI Jeff was my frequent phone point person) make me feel like I was a burden. A few times I had to leave voicemails and wait a day for a response but I heard back fast considering the circumstances. They listened and answered almost all of my questions. I'm now mostly recovered and they're still so patient and thorough with me, now that I'm not in the midst of an emergency. I am so lucky to have Dr Wood as my GI specialist.

Dr. Wood is the type of physician you hope for: she cares about your well-being, asks many questions to help get to the bottom of your problem, treats the individual as well as the condition, and gives you the time you need to enable the good care. I recommend her without hesitation.

I know it sounds overly dramatic to say that Dr. Wood gave me back my life but that is what she did. When I became her patient, my Crohns controlled every aspect of my so called life. I was still having flares that always ended in some humiliating circumstance and pretty much did not go anywhere. Dr. Wood listened, really listened, and worked out a program for me that now, I can go and do so many things. I can go watch my grandson play baseball! My life once again has quality. Her entire staff has been extremely supportive throughout this process. I call, they listen. If I have to leave a message, they get back to me. I highly recommend this practice to anyone who needs help with their Crohns.

I have been working with Dr. Wood after leaving MGI. I have found her to be both effective - my gut is healing! - as well as approachable. She makes it quite easy to talk about a not-so-easy-to-talk-about medical issue. She is interested in my questions and answers them in a practical and clear way that a layperson can understand and make use of. And I love the humorous books she keeps in her treatment rooms! Her medical assistants are also the best!

I am so glad I finally switched to Dr. Wood. She is very caring and very knowledgeable. I have been suffering with severe stomach issues for a while before I saw Dr. Wood. She was able to immediately schedule me for a procedure and was able to diagnose my problem. I am so grateful that I finally feel better. Dr. Wood and her staff are amazing. I would highly recommend Dr. Wood to anyone with gastrointestinal problems.

After 14 months, several doctors, 2 wrong diagnoses, and thousands of dollars in unnecessary diagnostic testing, I finally found a doctor who actually listened to my symptoms. She actually sat down, asked questions, looked at my medical history and past tests, then asked more questions. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Wood and her staff!

If you live with IBS, do yourself a favor and make an appointment with Dr. Wood. After years of increasingly severe IBS she diagnosed my condition and placed me on a different treatment regimen. Now I feel like a person I remember being many years ago! She is my 3rd GI physician and in this case it was a charm!

I saw Dr Woods for over 6 months. It was a very bad and disappointing experience. She did not return phone calls, failed to schedule me for procedures she claimed she would and ultimately left me with no recourse but finding another doctor. I would not recommenced seeing her to my worst enemy.

This problem may have been caused by Digestive Diseases, instead of Dr. Wood. I have a 49-year-old son, with severe autism. I made him an appointment, for a colonoscopy, with Dr. Wood, on November 7th. When I called the previous day, I was told that my son did not have an appointment. I know that I made one, so it must have been cancelled, but nobody told me. Dr. Wood sounds like a great doctor and I may still take my son to her.
