I was scheduled to do a milk test this morning at 8:30 AM. I arrived before the appointment time and sat down until 8:30 AM when I checked in. I waited until 9:30 AM for someone to call me. When the doctor finally placed me in a room, I waited for hours. She came to see me only once, and after that, everyone ignored me.You attend to all the Hispanic people and forget the blacks. Please do not charge my insurance, as I plan to inform them about the poor quality of service I received. Is this how you treat sick Black people? I will be taking my insurance elsewhere. Goodbye.

Good
Every appointment is invariably delayed. However, I like Dr. Goyal. He does not sugar quote. He talks straight on the face. Sometimes it may sound rude but it is in your interest he does that.

Absolutely terrible
What a joke of an office. Doctor was going to be 30-45 minutes late and I said ok, I will need to reschedule. The lady at the desk said he is always behind. I then walked out and said I would find a new doctor. When she was trying to figure out how long the wait would be, she said one lady was almost done, and the other lady she is mean and we don’t like her, so I am sure that will be quick. If you are a female and we’re in around 3:00 pm on 4-2 they could be talking about you. Who the heck says something like that.

Dr. Great Staff is horrible
I came in early on a Saturday to get bloodwork done. They told me to sign in and have a seat. After about 35mins they said that anyone that was there for bloodwork needed to put “blood work” next to their names. So I got up and did. During my wait a lady walked out and was DRIPPING BLOOD!! When we told the front desk (a lady named Jackie) she made a face like she didn’t care. When we saw that someone from the waiting room said “forget about it she doesn’t care” then she became upset and said “who said that? I have very good hearing”. When the guy said that it was him because she just made a face while there was blood on the ground. She didn’t say anything back to him as if her hearing went bad. After that someone else came out to make a new list for blood work. Everyone stood up and signed in and I was put at the end of the list.Dr. Goyal is great but his front office is horrible and should not be in the care giving business. After fasting for hours Jackie has no compassion

A Hidden Gem
I have been going to Dr Goyal for over ten years and I wouldn't go to anyone else. He's a Hidden Gem He and his wife are both amazing doctors, but he is also interested in you and welcomes feedback. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It's a welcoming environment. I feel at ease when I'm there. You'd be hard pressed to find a team of professionals better than the ones in their office. It's a five star operation. I'd recommend this team, with Alok and his wife at the helm, because they are a hidden gem, more than just exceptional professionals, they have heart and I'm glad I found them. Go there, and meet them all, and post telling me if I'm right or wrong. He's a very friendly guy. I told him about my Nicorette Gum hack to lose weight, Ask Him about it, if you want to lose some weight yourself, because one of the ingredients

Lack of getting test results
I was suffering from severe abdominal pain and Dr. Goyal referred me to go have an Ultrasound done afterwards I did not hear anything from Dr goyal regarding the results of the test and upon still having pain I called this office and left numerous messages finally the receptionist calls and informs me that I need to make an appointment in order to get the test results; this is something new for me due to the fact my other doctors always reaches out to let me know the results I feel that now my insurance is forced to pay them for another office visit when the Dr should have at least either himself or his nurse should have contacted me and pending the results informed me as to whether there is a need for another follow up visit. After this visit I am done going here simply because this is not the first time I have had to constantly call for results from test at this office. Obviously it's all about the generation of fees and charges and less about the concern and care for the patients.

Dr Goyal is an excellent physician. I have been going to him for years. He is very patient and caring. I love the fact that he is very direct and confident which some may mistake and arrogance which he is not. I wouldn’t change him for any other doctor .

He is a great doctor as well as his assistant Janeen unlike most offices getting refills and return calls is not a hassle. You will have to be patient but once you have been seen you will feel un rushed and given attention to health issues. I was originally referred to Dr Goyal by one of the best doctor’s in the world Westfield’s dr cardinale- dr goyal’s front desk person is the same as the front desk person that was at doctor cardinale office over 25 years ago and she is the best front desk person I have come across works very hard and is always kind. Sometimes a doctors office is only as good as it’s front desk she is honestly the best that I’ve noticed Doctor Janeen great as well she holds things down if dr cardinals is not available.. always gives concerns expert specialists referrals. Discuss medication side effects. Treats you as if you are a member of her own family. The assistant staff stays the same I have been going to this office for over twenty five years

Dr. Goyal is the greatest. He is a very caring person, explains your results in a language you can understand, not always using medical terms. If you call for any problems you can call his cell phone after hours. He will not discuss results because of HIPAA laws but is available to you. Very personable, explains everything to you and answers all your questions. Not trying to rush you out. I couldn't say more for the office staff.

FALSIFIED BILL FOR ROUTINE PHYSICAL: Tried to charge $10 co-pay in office when I checked with Cigna that I had none for routine physical. I saw this noted by others online. Several mos later I receive a falsified bill that was not for a routine physical. I was billed for "advanced care planning" and a annual physical follow up that was billed as "hypertension" to my insurance. I have low blood pressure!!! I was told by Dr Ramdial that "90% of patients should be like you". I have reported them to Cigna to put them under investigation. I was a patient for years. No more. DO NOT GO HERE !!!

FALSIFIED BILL – Jun 12, 2020

I have used the Perth Amboy location at least a few times for the treatment of my hypertension. Most of the staff leaves much to be desired. The deep lack of empathy and insensitivity toward my current economic plight is disturbing. Now I will need a mental health professional after my last office encounter. A total review of operations is in order. The office could be of a higher caliper if all concerned work toward a higher standard of delivery of services.
