Answered all of my questions. Was very patient- no questions are bad questions. Understood my medical history and was on point. Still anxious about the exam- but will review when completed

Leary is an understatement...
Scheduling an appointment was easy. Following up before an appointment is horrible. There is no one to speak to directly. You will get an answering service...maybe!

One of the many doctors to misdiagnose my gastritis (I ended up living with it for 4 years and getting hospitalized during covid bc of it) as soon as she heard I had a history of anxiety she dismissed all of my pain and suffering as just me being nervous and that it was normal. I was 90 pounds and I am a 21 year old 5’6” female. Nothing about that was normal. She refused to do more than maybe running a blood test that I had already gotten. Extremely irresponsible and borderline malpractice

I love Dr. Banks however the office staff is not very efficient. When I was sick I placed a call then had to call 48 hours later because there was no return call. After that conversation with the office staff, I then received a personal call from Dr. Banks (just love her) and she went over my history because I had not seen her in a while. Dr. Banks advised an early colonoscopy and I would receive a call before the end of August to schedule from her office staff; this is almost then end of September and I am still waiting on the call to schedule a procedure Dr. Banks felt was needed. I will be having a gentle conversation with Dr. Banks as she is the important factor in my health not the office staff.

I have been going to Dr. Banks for at least 6 years. She performs my routinely scheduled colonoscopy. In addition, she has attended to some non routine issues that my body was experiencing. I have nothing but praises for the care I have always received. My husband shares my sentiment, as he too is her patient.

Was scheduled for a colonoscopy today at 11:00am and had to be there by 10:30. When I arrived to the office there were 3 other people waiting as well to have the procedure. I was eventually called up to the desk around 12 and ended up leaving and not having the procedure done at all. She does not manage her time wisely when setting up appoints whether it is in her regular office for consultation which I sat for an appointment for 3 hours. She thinks that it is okay to be just apologetic and pass it over. She has no idea if you are scheduled to pick someone or your kids up from school because it is about her and how many patients she can schedule for the day I guess and collect the insurance money. It is unacceptable. It makes no sense that ai had nothing to eat since Tuesday before midnight and nothing all day Wednesday and prepared for the colonoscopy for her to not go through with my procedure today. I spent money on a prescription and didn’t even have the procedure.

My primary care doctor recommended me to Dr Banks. She’s easy to talk to and explains things well. I,also, find her office to be conveniently located and well run. I highly recommend her.

I prefer doctors who take time to educate patients so that they are able to make knowledgeable decisions about healthcare. Dr. Banks is such a doctor, even apologizing for taking "too much" time. Discussed reasoning behind a colonoscopy & helped me deduce whether or not I, as a 43 yr old Black woman, am a candidate for one. We concluded that I am; I got an appointment for 1 month after our initial consultation. My sister said this was fast- her appt. was 3 mos after. I highly recommend Dr. Banks

I saw Dr Banks for persistent digestive issues. I found her to be thorough, knowledgeable, understandable and willing to take the time to answer my questions. Her office staff members were kind and competent. I also had procedures performed at her surgery center, where everyone was professional and caring.

In Aug.,2 clueless guys said Dr. Banks was running 1-2hours late. Dr. Banks wasn?t apologetic. I was told that someone would follow-up with me. In Jan., I called & we scheduled the procedure. Since the pre-surgery meds are free in the office I called twice to say I would pick it up. In Feb., 2 confused young women said there was no meds and I?d to pay at the pharmacy. I asked to sit in the office so I could hear the instructions. Dr. Banks is rude with no bedside manner. I cancelled my surgery.

I have been Dr. Banks' patient since 2008 and she is, hands down, one of the best doctors I have had in my life. I am almost 35 years old and her accurate diagnosis of my condition saved my life. I am a medical miracle, and while I believe God had a lot to do with my healing, I know that Dr. Banks' diligence and devotion to me as her patient made all of the difference in the world. Visit her immediately if you want a doctor who will work for you and will do all in her power to make sure you beco
