Wrong diagnosis
Please don’t visit this doctor, trust me. I was admitted at Houston Methodist hospital for over 2 month and unfortunately this doctor was brought in to examine me psychologically and immediately without asking questions from me to get to know me or why things are happening, he immediately diagnosed me with factitious disorder without any testing or questioning whatsoever. Go to him at your own risk. If you don’t mi f being treated for a wrong diagnosis then you can go. His license and education should be questioned and looked into. He’s too lazy to sit firm and ask you questions like a normal psychologist or psychiatrist so instead he automatically assumes a wrong diagnosis. Thank God I wasn’t prescribed any medicine from him if not I would have trashed them. I didn’t know all these till I ordered my medical records from Methodist, went through it and saw his diagnosis and was wowed. Long story short, go to him at your own risk

Dr. Hawkins totally overmedicated my son, when he was at Methodist being treated for depression. He put my son on 6 different meds. He never once attempted to contact me during my son's stay at Methodist to update me on my son's condition. According to my son, Dr. Hawkins was very arrogant and condescending towards my son. Therefore, it is extremely important for you to request another psychiatrist to manage your care if you find yourself or a loved one in the psychiatric department at Methodist Hospital in Houston.

This abomination of a dr aggressively barged into my private room at Methodist Hospital with 4 residents, never asked for permission to speak with me, and proceeded to disregard my and my mother’s politely repeated wishes for him to leave. When I became agitated that he was violating my boundaries by refusing to leave, he became hostile, unprofessionally passive-aggressive (rolling his eyes, disregarding my requests for him to leave, and then intentionally tried to provoke). He’s a creepy bully.

A cruel and physician. Ordered my room door locked forcing me to walk back and forth from 8am to 6pm because I was did not attend group meetings. When I saw him days later and stated that I was tired, I'd start going to the meeting and if I could rest in my room like the other patients- He yelled, "No and you're going to start getting shots!" I did nothing to warrant this type of behavior from him. He started giving me shots of Invega and now I have wavy lines in my eyesight. Poor excuse for a..
