Rude
She was my doctor years ago, so this review is late, but accurate. She was my obgyn when I got pregnant at 19 and she made the rudest comments. She stated more than once that she was thankful she only had sons. Another time, I told her that I had gained weight but my husband doesn't think I'm fat and she literally said 'he's just being politically correct'. (I was a whopping 140lbs).Even though she hasn't been my doctor for a long time, I've still never had a worse experience with an obgyn. I sincerely hope she's treating her patients better now.

After 20 years I am leaving Dr. Kelly Jones
I have been a patient if Dr. Kelly Jones for 20 years, the past 3-4 years I have really been questioning changing doctors and this last visit did me in. For one, every visit I have to wait in the room for 45 minutes to be seen, she comes in and acts as if she has no idea who I am and the whole appointment is rushed. The icing on the cake for me was when I asked for a Maternal Fetal Medicine referral and she asked me why?? I had a very pre term delivery (25 weeks) 2 years ago and it was clear she didn’t even bother reading my chart before entering the room. As I explained to her what I had been through, I was in tears as it was and still is traumatic for me. As I am in tears she proceeds with the Pap smear, wraps up and exits the room as I am still trying to gather myself. I was beyond shocked at the complete lack of bedside manner/compassion for a patient of hers let alone someone who has been seeing her for 20 years.

The BEST
Dr. Kelly-Jones has helped to transform the quality of my life. My GP had me on anti depressants that were making me actually depressed, lethargic, gaining weight. When I was talking to my RD, she suggested I go see Dr. Kelly-Jones. I've now been a patient now for 3 years and I am feeling "normal" again. And btw, I wasn't depressed at all, my hormones were all whacked out!

I would not recommend this Dr to anyone not even my dog. I was referred to her by my primary Dr and everything I say is disregarded. Dr Jones is stuck in her ways and only going by what she was taught in school by the books. She talks over you and act worst than a male Dr trying to tell you what is going on with your body because of your age. Every human being is different and they do not run according to what your book says. I've only gone to her this year to have these test done that my primary suggested but I'm certain if I was a regular patient of hers she would not have ran these test at all because of her being stuck on my age. I've never encountered a Dr so rude and nasty as Dr. Jones. I will find my own GYN next year. By the way all test were positive for the symptoms so than she was looking shocked.

I have been seeing her for many years. The last two appointments were horrible. She was rushing me and i’m not listening to me. Her demeanor was somewhat condescending and rude. She would avoid my questions and speak over me. I finally I just stop talking. She did not make eye contact with me which I found very disturbing. It was a very uncomfortable visit because I felt that she really did not want to be there. It was just so strange. I can’t go back there and I certainly would not recommend her anymore.

I’m surprised Dr Jones doesn’t have a perfect score. She is one of the best gynecologist I’ve ever had. Let’s face it, exams like the ones we as women need, are less than desirable. Dr. Jones is incredibly professional and puts me at ease. She’s also very easy to talk with and has helped me tremendously with any female related issues. I referred My 20 year old Daughter to Dr Jones. So important to have a really good gynecologist and Dr. Jones is just that.

I was referred to Dr. Kelly-Jones for low testosterone and ovarian cysts. I'm in my early forties and my hormones were those of a woman in her 80s. Dr. Kelly-Jones has been awesome, explaining everything along the way. We've had to do some trial and error with different things, but finally found the right combination of hormones and birth control for me. I feel SO much better now. Like I used to before my hormones went crazy. I can't thank her enough! There are so few doctors who will even consider prescribing testosterone to women, but it's essential to our health. She is providing a great service to the women of Charlotte, and beyond.

She listened to me, diagnosed quickly and efficiently, and came up with a plan right away. I was so impressed with her. So much better than the blank stare my previous gynecologist gave me when I shared my problem with him for the past 3 years.

Dr. Kelly-Jones was pleasant and answered my questions directly. I was able to get an appointment fairly quickly and she was able to turn around biopsy results quickly as well. She gave me clear, succinct recommendations with important data. I appreciated her honesty regarding the specifics of the disease and her knowledge regarding research and treatment.

I saw Dr Kelly only once, don't think I will go back. She's very impatient to listen to my questions. She made me feel like she doesn't want to be there and can't wait to get out of the exam room. I would understand if they are busy, but it was a very slow day. The waiting was empty.

I had been seeing Dr. Jones for years. I expressed a problem I was having each year and she blew it off. Finally in 2017 my hormones were so screwed up from my birth control she FINALLY saw it. Since I am young she seemed to rush my visits every time and not listen to my issues. I will be finding someone new this year.

My wife was referred by her oncologist to establish a local gynecologist and monitor potentially cancerous ovarian cysts to ensure they were not growing or changing. It was time for a follow up scan. Oddly, the priority of our appointment with Dr Kelly-Jones became a recommendation for testosterone treatment, something like a below skin implant or a cream typically prescribed for men. She explained the history of male-dominated control of medicine. We were uncomfortable and did not return.
