My husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer, stage 4. We started hormone therapy locally then made an appointment at mdanderson and were assigned to Dr Zurita.after multiple ct scans, mri s blood tests and cystoscopy x2, no treatment had been started. He ordered a 3rd cysto without even checking the mri from last visit (he had forgotten he had ordered it). We requested a copy of our chart to discover other doctors were dictating our plan of care. He wasn't aware and clueless of plan suggested

Zero people skills. Six months with him and all that was done was test, test test,, get all you can from the insurance. Then they start unnecessary procedures to further evaluate. Came into the appointments unprepared and unaware of what tests he had ordered.

Dr. Zurita filled in for another doctor who was on vacation while my father was hospitalized at MD Anderson receiving radiation therapy. Dr. Zurita was rude, stated that he was too busy to see my father every day, and told my mother that the only reason my father was in the hospital was because she couldn't take care of him at home. He thoroughly intimidated my 84-year-old mother, reducing her to tears. Totally unprofessional and completely lacking in compassion.
