positive experience
Dr. Matz reviewed record and referral information before I went in the room on first visit. She listens and responds with appropriate exam and assessments, as well as follow up. Office is pleasant and no wait on any of several appointments. I have recommended her to a friend and will do so again if anyone asks.

Not a great visit. My wife has a difficult time with Dr. visits and is hesitant to take drugs or have her toenails cut. She needs time to process information and to decide what is needed. I advised ahead of time that I need to accompany her to help her in that process, but Dr. Matz seemed to be in a hurry so she told me it was my wife's decision and hurried her decision making. Nothing was done. We happened to have a regular doctor visit after this one and we showed the doctor her toe. The doctor said the base of the toe was becoming inflamed and that she had a treatable corn neither of which were noted by Dr. Matz. So, we are off to another podiatrist who hopefully will have the time and patience to care for my wife's needs. Our regular doctor also advise that in the meantime she soak her toe in Epsom salts to try to resolve the inflammation at the base of the toe.

Excellent. She was really great with my daughter for her ingrown toenail procedure. Her office staff was wonderful too.

I had my first appointment with Dr Matz and was totally impressed, from the moment my wife and I stepped into her reception area and met Donna,,her receptionist, who was cheerful, helpful and competent to my consultation with the doctor. Dr Matz was cordial and spent over 45 minutes taking medical history, examining my feet, and observing my walking pattern. She spent tme sharing her insights and referrals for testing

I have been seeing Dr Matz for a serious foot issue for about a year - and she is very knowledgeable, and does research when in doubt, and is very concerned with her patients. She was willing to prescribe several types of orthotics for me until we found what worked best. I have seen other podiatrists and she is the best.

Unfortunately this DR Matz does not have a receptionist and has a private answering service take calls not sure if it's a screening process but I've called several times today and NO one will return a call to have a appointment made. Office is only open Monday Tuesday Thurs either they can't afford a receptionist or they are so wealthy they only work 3 days a week not good situation
