Dr. Smolock cannot be depended on to do surgery that was agreed upon. She presents options that are not options. The only choice is the one she has chosen. She cancels surgery the day before surgery is scheduled. She told me that my other problems will end my life span me before cancerous tumor becomes a problem. Her actions are contrary to everything I have been told about cancer. The cancer theme, that I have always be told is early detection and treatment is the key to beating cancer. Her action, toward my treatment is go away, surgery canceled.

Even early in her residency with UW Health, Dr. Smolock was doing amazing work and has an excellent bedside manner.

Having over a dozen PICC lines placed in my lifetime, I have experienced a variety of doctors and their skill sets. The line Dr. Smolock placed had little pain afterwards, measured in both the intensity of pain (2 of 10) and the duration of the pain approximately 24 hours. Dr. Smolock proved to be very professional by going beyond her duties by visiting me after I was admitted.
