Dr. Amarinder Bindra, MD

Dr Bindra has been my cardiologist for four years, but he's helped me with so much more. I went from being told by other doctors that I might not leave the hospital, to I might need a transplant, to being transferred to Dr Bindra. No transplant, being treated with medication alone now. My life is pretty normal, despite working a strenuous job in the mines. What I truly appreciate though is his help with making lifestyle changes. He has a way of making things that at first seem overwhelming and unattainable become simple. When I slip up, like forgetting to take my meds, he explains to me the gravity of my situation and sets me straight. He even helped me lose around 100 pounds just by talking to me. He speaks plainly and directly with me, which I also appreciate. I'm never confused or have questions when I leave. I always know what I need to do if I want to be healthier the next time I see him

Fast forward two years With Dr Binder’s help and his transplant team I now have a hew donor heart Very thankful for them sticking with me Very happy for the donor he is a real hero I have never felt the feeling of being blessed until now It’s a unbelievable feeling Thank You Dr Bindra and the entire transplant team

Dr. Bindra is an exceptional cardiologist. His knowledge, care, encouragement and advice while dealing with my husband's CHF has been priceless. We have been under his care for nearly four years and he has done an outstanding job in helping us navigate all the challenges. AMAZING CARDIOLOGIST!

Dr. Bendra is exceptional. He tells the truth and he uses his God given talent to bless others. Because of his work and the grace of GOD, my father is still here loving on our family and preaching! The heart transplant worked!

Dr. Bindra has treated me for heart failure for about 5 years. When I first met him, I had less than 2 yrs. to live, according to other doctors. Due to his excellent treatment, my heart has lasted 7 yrs. and I continue to do well under Dr. Bindra's care. I would highly recommend him to anyone with serious heart problems.

Dr. Bindra is an outstanding cardiologist and overall good person. He assisted me in all aspects of my heart disease from the very first time I saw him. He recommended an LVAD even though others likely thought I was too old at my then age of 82. Here I am at 84 and living a relatively normal healthy life thanks to him. He shows care for me every time I see him and I can't thank him enough for his attention and the direction he led me to in my life. If you need a cardiologist I would highly recommend Dr. Bindra.

Dr. Bindra has no bed side manner. Showed little to no interest in improving my husbands quality of life. He’s very demeaning and disrespectful. I would not recommend this doctor to my worst enemy.

I was referred to Dr. Bindra when my cardiologist advised me that transplantation was my best hope. After 3 heart attacks, a triple bypass, at least 9 stents, there wasn't much more that could be done for me. Dr Bindra adjusted my medications and ordered a series of tests. He advised that I needed a transplant as soon as possible, I was listed in a week and transplanted 3 weeks after that. He is an astoundingly exceptional Doctor, and a wonderful person as well. I am forever thankful.

Dr. Bindra is superb. Extraordinarily attentive and knowledgeable. The Heart Failure clinic runs like a top in my opinion. Overall excellent.

Dr. Bindra saved my life. I was having heart attacks all the time but the right heart caths indicated that my blood flow was normal. Therefore, I had been told by other cardiologists to wait until I was older. In November of 2015 I had multiple heart attacks at one time. In February 2016, Dr. Bindra helped me get into the heart transplant program at Baylor. I could feel my body starting to shut down. If he hadn't gotten me on the transplant list, I don't believe I would be here today.

He has been a blessing for my father. We were educated about heart failure in detail by him and his team. He took his time and answered all our questions. The medicines he has given are working real well. We celebrated yet another great Christmas as family. Thank you.

Dr Bindra expressed little interest in caring for my elderly mother. The first time she saw him he asked me what did i want him to do, basically what he was saying to me was,it was just a matter of time for her. A year and half later my mother is still here. I gave him one star, he really don't deserve that.
