What a super lady! As soon as Dr. Dorsey walked through the door at our consultation meeting to discuss the hernia I had experienced, my wife and I felt comfortable and completely at ease due to her inviting personality. She is very personable, pleasant, knowledgeable, caring, compassionate, has a good sense of humor and overall... is down-to-earth. No airs about her. She did not rush our meeting and was there to answer ALL of our questions with genuine concern for my situation. She took time to discuss the different approaches/styles available to correct the hernia. I chose to have it done robotically and glad that I did. First few days to follow there was a bit of pain and discomfort which is normal, but by the time my (2) week post-op appointment came due, there was very little discomfort and only on occasion. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Dorsey and her expertise to anybody in need of hernia surgery. Wish she did hip surgery. I would have her take care of those too!

Dr. Dorsey performed hernia surgery on my special needs brother. She took the time to explain the procedure as well as several options as to the types of surgeries available. The surgery and follow up went perfectly. Dr. Dorsey's ability, demeanor, and "bedside manner" couldn't have been better. She talks to you, not down to you. I was VERY impressed with her and would highly recommend her.
