Dr. Ami Mehta, MD

Came to her over a year ago - my daughter's first UTI. I really liked her but had a diff PCP. Decided I needed to start seeing Mehta more often as she is extremely thorough. She always takes tons of medical history on each of my kids. She really listens to the child even when symptoms don't make any sense. She takes patients seriously, even if there are random mysterious symptoms. Very very thorough with lab work (if needed). She is really good about finding us specialists and makes a point to look up their contact info during the appt so that you leave with all the info you need. She is similar to a detective who gets all the evidence and cracks the case, and still makes time to check on your emotional status by empathizing or trying to give you hope when really need it :-)
