Had test results in November, emailed my chart saying my ultrasound was normal. In May had blood drawn, came back normal now saying the ultrasound spotted something and to call my pcp. Will not order test if it’s outside of what she’s seeing you for. I could have already been to another Dr and a plan on what we are going to do. Unfortunately I no longer trust her ability to treat me effectively, will be looking for a new Dr. the real question is she a internal Dr or an endocrinologist?

I saw Dr O at the VA endocrinology. She is a thoughtful, patient & willing to slow down to explain her reasoning or thought. fam history has diabetes on both sides & I also had GDM despite being very fit & eating healthy except Navy galley food. I have suspected dm since a young adult & told it was “psychosomatic” w/out blood tests by Kaiser. Anyways, Dr O referred for 2 hr OGTT because of the risks already. Found out I am Prediabetes thanks to her I can adjust my nutrition properly now.
