I was not a good candidate for the Euro-lift (unable to urinate on my own) or Turp (on blood thinner - Eliquis) prostate procedures so I was referred to Dr. Chakrabarty to perform the Green Light Laser. I was told I would see significant improvement in my urine flow but not like it was as a teenager. Once the catheter was removed following the procedure, I saw significant improvement in my urine flow almost to the point it was when I was a teenager. Dr. Chakrabarty's mannerism seems like he is in a rush; however, he addressed all my concerns and answered all my questions.

Horrible I have nothing good to say about him at all he did surgery on me twice and has messed me up so bad I have not been able to pee on my own I have to use a catheter all the time.he no good

Dr. Chakrabarty performed a robotic procedure on my 59 year old dad to remove his prostate, removing cancer. We have had a great experience overall and praising Jesus that he placed Dr. Chakabarty on our path! He didn’t have to do robotic, but, because he knew the recovery was easier and with many more pros over cutting dad open, he did what was overall best for his patient! A 7.5 surgery is not for the weak. Thank you so much Dr. Chakrabarty for making my dad cancer free!

This is our 4th visit to this doctor. The staff is friendly & nice & the doctor seems to know what he’s doing, but we’ll see how the results of this treatment turnout. They have no respect for their patients’ time. Wait never less than 1-1/2 hours from my appt time. Today almost 2 full hours. What does it take for doctors to get the message that OUR time is important, too?!? It’s not rocket science. If your patient’s are having to wait for more than 1/2 hr, you’re overbooking! Inconsiderate!

Dr. Chakrabarty is very professional. Mother has had chronic UTIs, several strokes (but is lucid and communicative now), and he explains things very well to her and my father, a pharmacist. Because where she has been hospitalized does not use the hospitalist system, he comes into her room personally to check on her progress and recovery. He is an excellent physician.

My husband and I were thoroughly impressed with Dr. Chakrabarty. His friendly staff was fully available for any questions regarding my husband's scheduled vasectomy. He was extremely nervous, and the doctor was very accommodating to us and my husband's anxiety before and during the first stages of procedure. Surprisingly, my husband said it was pain free and almost fell asleep. Very pleased!

Never have I felt so secure about my health care. Dr. "C" and his entire staff have always been personable and professional. I just had a procedure completed at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center by Dr. "C"...the pre-op; operation and all follow ups proved to be fantastic experiences, well as fantastic as surgery can be. The attention to all details and clear communication throughout this entire experience has been wonderful. Dr. "C" and his staff treated me like I was their only patient

Horrible at patient comfort! Whispered with his assistant in the corner after my examination wile I still was on the table. He would not explain what was wrong with me only that he was reffering my elsewhere.... Great way to worry someone to death. Will not ever return defiantly would not recommend him.

zero is how many I would recommend Dr Chakrabarty to, NOTHING he said came to light, about Lithotripsy and any pain, Pain and severe nausea dominated, fever chills, weakness went along for the ride, I felt half dead, breathing returned to about normal about 72 hours after, Throwing up blood, uncontrollably was never part of the deal, anywhere, it is the first thing I did upon waking up at home,,,he had to give me a shot of Laudanum for pain to knock me out to get me out of the hospital,,,

Dr. Amit Chakraborty belongs to the class of doctors who deserve veneration for their knowledge, alacrity and medical acumen. He did my critical Hernia operation as an outdoor patient, considering my financial condition which proved his humanity towards the society as well. The operation was very smooth and I went back home within a couple of hours. He has profound general overall medical knowledge despite his specialty in Urology.
