Dr. Amita Alexander, MD

Dr. Alexander is the most thorough doctor I have ever met. She actually really listens to what is going on with you. She has fixed several of my health problems and she has only been my new PCP for 6 months. Every time I go in with a new health issue she knows how to treat it. I would give her 100 stars if I could. I can't tell you how happy I am to have finally found a real doctor who takes her time to figure out what is wrong with me. I recommend her to family, friends and even strangers. I can't say enough good about her. She is an answer to prayer.

I have been very pleased with Dr. Alexander. She listens, provides treatment options, and spends more than adequate time with me. I never feel rushed and have only had a long wait time once. I can reach her through messaging, and typically get a response within 48 hours. She has handled many medical issues and we have even discussed specialists. She checks in on my migraine management, even though she does not treat it. I feel very comfortable with her. She can be straight forward, which is what I need, but does so in an appropriate manner.

Dismissive. Went in for an annual exam, ended up worse per Amita's prescription. Called and left her a message to let her know I was feeling worse never received a call back. Prescribed me Meclizine 12.5mg for 30 days, took it one day and I was out a full day, made all my systems worse ten fold. Shame on Banner and shame on YOU Amita Alexander. Trying to get a hold of the practice manager to file a complaint but, like always, cant' reach them. Don't waste your time seeing this person.
