I saw this doctor 15 years ago when I was going through a deep depression and she was nothing but short and rude to me. She was my first time experience with doctors in treatment of mental illness. And she was not empathetic or willing to explain what was happening to me. She was good at handing out meds! I would never recommend her! Thankfully I found others in this field who were much more willing to help me.

Dr. Patel was consistently rude to me and treated me like a child. She refused to allow me to reduce my dose of a tranquilizer unless I purchased an expensive light box for Seasonal Affective Disorder. Her staff were rude, and it was difficult to get an appointment. Are there any decent psychiatrists in Dayton? Argh.

I have been under Dr. Patel's care for 22 years. She is without any question the finest physician, of any kind, who has ever provided care for this patient. She literally has provided me with a life worth living. I highly recommend Dr. Patel to anyone; especially to those who feel as though no physician has been able to address there medical issues. She in incomparable!

For me, I want a doctor who is a good listener, also with a good knowledge base and excellent skills. I like the idea that Dr. Patel specializes in many areas such as geriatrics and Mrdd. My treatment plan included my input every step of the way, from goals, understanding, options, and compliance. I am in the healthcare industry, therefore my expectations are high. She is one of the true elite professionals that go beyond the call of duty. I highly recommend Dr. Patel .

Patel and her staff are very rude. It was extremely hard to make or cancel appointments and impossible to make emergency appointments.
