Dr. Amos Madanes, MD

Dr. Madanes was great but not all the staff members were nice especially the billing department. They are not LGBT friendly. They wrote my insurance company a letter stating I was in a same sex relationship and was trying to get pregnant. The staff member didn’t bother to give me a copy of the letter, my insurance company did anyway with her name on it. We left and went to another clinic that is more LGBT friendly. Lucky for us because we got pregnant shortly after leaving Dr. Madanes. The staff at the new place was definitely professional and friendly, which you would expect when you’re dealing with infertility issues.

I only had a consultation with Dr Madanes. My husband and I have been struggling with infertility for 4 years. When meeting Dr Madanes he asked a series of questions but he was very dismissive and often vague when I asked him questions. I was not expecting a diagnosis or treatment plan after a single consultation but I did expect to be treated like a human being who has suffered a lot in this journey which sadly was not the case. When discussing tests I asked him about the many that I had already completed again to be dismissed without him even reviewing them. He said in his experience those tests are often not of a quality up to his standard so I was left to believe he would make me repeat them. I got the strong impression he has a set procedure for every patient regardless of their circumstances which is impersonal, unnecessary and depending on insurance expensive. Overall I felt my initial meeting with Dr Madanes would have been better as an online survey

I can't say enough about the caring personalized care I have received from Dr. Madanes and his entire staff. I came to Dr. Madanes after I almost died from a ruptured ectopic pregnancy. I was terrified of trying again but with being 35 years old, I didn't have time to waste. He immediately addressed all my fears and developed a plan to help me achieve a SAFE successful pregnancy. During my workup, I ended up pregnant!

Great experience, I will highly recommend the office. They were willing to work around my crazy work schedule.

We are blessed to have met the staff and dr madanes. they have changed our lives forever. the office was so friendly and always willing to answer any questions we had. dr madanes knew exactly what would work for us and what wouldn't. he was very straight forward and never gave us any false hope. he and his staff where truly amazing and we couldn't be more blessed

From the first time my husband and I talked to Dr. Madanes, we felt we were in good hands. Not only that he was so patient in hearing us out and answering all our questions, but he also took time in asking us questions all in effort to see and understand our story in its entirety. As my appointments went on, and I started coming to his Downers Grove office, I realized that there is a whole team of equally fantastic staff, and they are all extremely personable and sweet.

Dr. Madanes is a well experienced doctor. The entire process of IVF was explained in detail, all questions answered and the staff is very understanding all along this journey. I never hesitated to call the office twice to clarify any doubts that I was having. I am 11 weeks pregnant with the help of IVF under the care of Dr. Madanes. I surely recommend this doctor to everyone.

Dr and all of the staff were always great, They were friendly, attentive, and always helpful.

Everyone and everything has been great so far, it's comforting to know that there are a team of people committed to finding solutions that others had not addressed in the past. Would give more stars if possible!
