Dr. Amrita Kochhar, MD

Tonsils were swollen severely with white puss spots. Rapid strep test came back negative. She sd she couldn't prescribe me anything bc I didn't have strep throat. Called the next day bc I felt worse and asked for an antibiotic bc I think it's strep throat. She wouldn't talk to me and had nurses tell me if u felt bad go to the ER. Went to urgent care who also did a rapis strep test that came back negative but the doctor sd she would send to the lab bc of the white spots to see what comes back and prescribed me something to help with the swelling of tonsils and ear pain. Urgent care called 2 days later and sd the lab test came back as positive for strep throat and called an antibiotic to my pharmacy. This lady had no empathy and didn't even think or care enough to send my culture to the lab for further testing. Rude, and incompetent or doesn't like people of color. I think the latter is more appropriate.

At 81 years old, I have visited my share of doctors, and, in my opinion, Dr. Amrita Kochhar is the best primary care physician that I have ever had. Not only does she possess a vast knowledge of medicine, but she truly cares about her patients. In my old age, I rely on her wisdom, expertise and compassion. She is a truly remarkable doctor, and I highly recommend her.

Dr. Kochhar is a gem. She is a phenomenal physician. I have been a patient for 5 years. She is vary caring and listens to your concerns. She includes you in the decision making process when it comes to your health. She explains diagnosis in a way that you fully understanding. She is timely when responding to any questions/concerns you have.

Dr. Kochhar is one of my personal heroes. She saved my life, in fact, by getting me for evaluation and treatment on what turned out to be an aggressive form of lung cancer. She and her staff made sure that I got in to see the right specialists as soon as possible. I don't think I would be around today without their fast action. I have deep gratitude for Dr. Kochhar and all the staff.

Dr Kochhar has been our primary care doctor for the past five years. She is the best. She is incredibly knowledgeable and has a caring attitude. She really gets to know her patients and ensures we are doing everything we can to stay healthy. She provides a lot of advice and follows up on any issue we have. I would recommend her to anyone.
