Abomination of a Doctor and Human Being
I've been a patient for 3 years and choosing OIAAI for my allergy shots is a decision I regret. You are treated as cattle here. This organization is just a cash grab, their goal being to process as many patients as possible. You will never see Amy Darter, only PA's at your appointments. She's essentially a figure head for the branches in OK. Throughout my care I have caught and had to correct serious errors in my care at both the Yukon and Norman offices including: - not correctly labeling injections during 2 skin tests - I've been nearly given someone else's injections 4 times. I caught this because I actually read the name on the shots and noticed they were trying to give me 3 injections when I only receive two. - Complete communication breakdowns between the Norman & Yukon locations to the Central locations resulting in 3 months to remix my serum, resulting in me having to restart my injections from square one to build back up to maintenance dose

You are not a patient here, only dollar signs. If for some reason you do choose to receive care from this organization, you MUST advocate for yourself to ensure you are receiving proper care and the staff are not making mistakes.

My daughter has been sick on and off since Jaunary. We did several rounds of test with no answers. Our pediatrician finally sent us to an Immunologist (Dr Darter). With only a few test and thorough questioning, Dr Darter and her staff were able to start a plan. This is the longest span in 9 months we've went without her getting sick and this mom is so relieved. Now my daughter feels much better and is building her immune system. Thank you, OIAA!

This doctor is perfect for someone who wants to private pay just to see her and pay hundreds of dollars for unnecessary testing only to have her tell me it isn’t anaphylaxis and was her being dramatic at 1 year old. Told me “I told you last time that you can’t listen to an ent bout allergies, they take a weekend class on allergies . I told you last time to have her eat these foods and obviously you didn’t understand it so we are back at square one. Starting over but okay!”

Her & her staff did not serve my child well in terms of diagnosing thus causing suffering, worry, & possible harm. Appointment after appointment with limited lab work & no testing to determine cause of hives.

Dr. Darter was by far the worst Dr I have ever been to. She misdiagnosed both my son & I, costing us thousands of dollars in bills & unnecessary treatments. She is very extreme & likes to over diagnose & treat. After finally consulting with my family Dr & Pediatrician, we learned that these were not uncommon complaints of Dr. Darter, & we decided to get a second opinion. The "life long" chronic extreme illnesses that she had diagnosed us with were unfounded, and we received proper care elsewhere

Submitted new patient paperwork. Arrived for appointment and a nurse's assistant made me answer every question again even though I had submitted the entire packet. After she was done, I went into a room and answered a lot of the same questions again for a practitioner. BIG PROBLEM: I never even saw the doctor. I am tired of paying to see a doctor and only being treated by someone who is NOT a doctor.
