Doesn't have a good way with children
Dr. Defelice was rude. I did not like the way she spoke to my 12 year old son. She was very dismissive of his complaints. It can be hard for a young boy to talk to a doctor. She did not seem to have any interest in making him feel comfortable. She came across as very uncaring. We did not return for our follow up. I would not recommend.

Dr. DeFelice is amazing!
I don’t usually post reviews, but I feel that the attention and compassion we received from Dr. DeFelice was one of the best medical experiences we have ever had. We went to her for a second opinion for my 14 year old son who was suffering from the worst IBD flare up we have ever experienced. She was well prepared for our visit and had reviewed all his records to give us a clear (and different diagnosis). My son was admitted to the hospital the next day and Dr DeFelice was involved in all decisions with the attending GI doctors and came to check in on us multiple times throughout our stay. I highly recommend her.

This doctor was very unfriendly and dismissive of my child's GI issues. I truly don't understand why someone like this is in this job.

I brought my 3 month old child to dr. DeFelice because he was having severe difficulty eating and was experiencing what appears to be horrible reflux. Dr. D was extremely dismissive of my concerns and was uninterested in giving any form of real evaluation or diagnosis. She acted as if my concerns were unfounded even when I explained the severity of his discomfort. She perscribed more Meds, even though they were not working. if you would like a real Diagnosis DO NOT use Dr. Defelice!

The end result of her prescription was my child ending up in the ER the next day nearly dead from allergic reaction. The office visit was fast. Everyone was courteous except for the Dr. Was called in by a woman that I didn't even realize was the dr until she sat at her desk and began with the questions. Never introduced herself or asked if I was ok with another dr(assumed resident)..had to remove my child's clothing in one room put them on and take them off again in docs office.. Thx but no thx!

As a child, whenever I was asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, my answer was always the same: a pediatrician. My love for gastroenterology developed later, during the first year of my pediatric residency. I was inspired by a very difficult...read more
