Dr. Amy Hills, MD

This is a message for the employer of Amy Hills. My mother recently came to see this doctor as an emergency visit due to her current doctor not being available. My grandmother is 86 and has been taken care of by my mother 20 plus years. When my mother came in to address my grandma potentially having a stroke and my mom noticing that she could not move her body, and her eyes were acting up, the doctors reply was that’s because your mother is in a wheelchair. Well, this Amy Hills should be fired and ashamed of herself. Not only for charging a 600 dollar bill when you did absoloutely nothing but insult my mother as a caretaker, you sent my grandma home not listening to the concerns of her caretaker. My mom had to take my grandma to the emergency department In Leadville only days after this so called “doctor visit” and so you know your unintelligence as a doctor shines bright because not only was something seriously wrong, My grandma HAD a stroke, in fact she had 2. Dr. Hills is very personable. She has a great bedside manner and sense of humor. She is interested in getting to know you. Not just for medical reasons, but also as a person. Dr. Hills takes her time with you, listens to everything you have to say, and answers all questions. She is very thorough in her questioning, as she does not want to miss any pertinent information. When she goes over medical tests/reports, she sits next to you and has you follow along, and explains them in a way everyone can understand. I would highly recommend Dr. Hills to anyone.
