A Neurologist with a Healer's Heart
Telehealth
So patient! So empathetic! So smart! When describing my focal seizure I said the typical, “I only lost awareness for about 10 seconds” which is usually met with a nod and typing. She is the first neurologist to correct, “That’s still enough time where it’s not safe to cross the street”. I’ve never had a doctor who cared this much about my well-being, not just the scientific problem of eliminating my seizures. She really listens and works WITH the patient. Very flexible and thoughtful. She values what I have to say. Very knowledgeable about supplementary methods beyond medication and surgery which is rare at NYU's Epilepsy Center. Truly curious about learning as much as she can to help others' quality of life. After a horrible experience at NYU, she is helping me trust professionals again. There are many problem solvers in this field, but she is the first healer I’ve found in Western medicine. Highly recommend!

AMAZING
I just had my first appointment with Dr. Jongeling today and she was amazing! She truly took the time to listen to what I had to say and took the time to explain. I can’t wait to work with her and see her again. :)
