Dr. Amy Miller-McCarthey, MD

She and her staff talk to you very disrespectfully. She refuses to answer any questions unless you come in for a visit. She doesn't care about anything you have to say, and she leads the direction of the treatment she thinks you should have. If you don't agree with the treatment or have a question about the treatment, she doesn't work with you. She just dismisses you.

My preventative "well woman" visit should of been at no cost. Unfortunately it was coded incorrectly and I received a bill. I contacted my health insurance company & they contacted Ascension with a proper medical code and the bill was paid in full. Now a year later I am still getting bills for this-- now paid for office visit. I have repeatedly contacted Ascension and they agree nothing is owed, but he bills still keep coming. As for Dr. Miller McCarthey, she was nice, but was very cognitive of how much time she was spending with me in the exam room. She was definitely "on the clock", so to speak. I'm can't say this Doctor is worth all the hours spent talking to Ascension billing, for a 15 minute office visit.

Dr. MIller-McCarthy was always friendly, professional and very interested in me as a patient. Would recommend her to anyone looking for a great Dr. Have been seeing Dr. Miller-McCarthy for over 15 years and never had a negative experience.

I have been seeing Dr. Miller-Mcarthy since 2002 for annuals and pregnancy and have recommended her to many people. Very caring and listens! She’s the best doctor ever!

While I initially had a good experience with her, my most recent annual appointments with Dr. Miller McCarthy were frustrating. I felt as though she was not hearing my concerns, rather was focusing on what she viewed the problem to be. Specifically, I have fertility issues, and while I wanted to focus on the health related concerns I need to considered, she continued to redirect the conversation back to her concerns about my decision not to have children nor explore fertility options.

Dr. Miller-McCarthy is super nice and compassionate. She takes the time to sit with you and to explain everything. He staff is great too.

This doctor coded my visit incorrectly, charged me for a service that was not performed and didn't accurately address the problems I sought answers to. It has been 6 months since my visit and after phone calls and a letter specifically addressing these issues, I received another bill that increased my charges by $75. I will have to find another gynecology to help me and hope I will never run into such incompetence again.

Best doctor ever! So kind and comprehensive. Truly amazing.
